I thought the song had a few good moments,and in parts sounded quite anthemic....perhaps a little like a Bond snog.Didn't hold my attention all the way through though,and obviously the image is a worry,although tbf memorable.

Really don't like Azerbaijan also,and can't understand why it's so high in the betting apart from the dodgy goings on last year.Norway too morose I feel,Sweden pleasant enough but also seems way too short.Denmark is too corny for me,and also too Bruno Mars (May be my personal taste here as I can't stand BM either)

anyone pick up how the winner stared into the camera?you could almost read his mind "you will vote for me" it worked!if it was down to the judges think result would have been different,thats why i didnt have a bet,if its down to the public anyone of them could have won

I think you make a good point about Jermain's use of the camera.He was shown in close up quite a few times,and indeed stared into the lens and as such probably connected with the watching audience.Compare that to Sally who seemed to sing predominantly with her eyes closed,and perhaps it becomes a factor in the result.
Also Jermain's on stage lighting was very favourable....plenty of triumphant white light shone directly onto him,and of course being last to perform and Will's tears and eulogy all probably additional factors.
I think he came over as extremely likable also,and the changing of words in his winning song to mention his Mum was a lovely gesture.Nice kid,excellent role model and on the night a deserving winner.
