Appears Mario is pretty normal actually and will be decent and considerate in the house. He's well spoken and a stark contrast to that Charlotte horror. Those that don't know the character he played will take him for a charming young man and those that do will realise he isn't actually that character. He will likely have to have events swing his way to win but 22-1 seems a pretty decent price for someone with a lot going for him. Going in he said he was a Mummy's Boy, might be closer to the truth.
seems ok, a lot different to his reputation but this is a sprint and needs to raise his profile fast. tbf he's started well and can only be shown as much as CH5 want involved a lot in decent conversations and already a bit of innocent flirting with carol could already be the main story line of the whole show. so yeah looking good here, coz atm most are bland that spence could run away with it. 2nd fav is a nut job and carol is lethal with booze, a nice drunk for now but she is scary to me, drinks way too much and bound to do something outrageous at some point, but will it be good or bad ?

Fully onboard too. The only person from TOWIE who I've ever liked. Seems a decent, fairly smart, articulate and self aware guy, unlike the ones I've seen previously

I can't see women voting for him, he says he's a changed man but is flirting with an engaged woman. I would say he is one of the most disliked on TOWIE, he has no personality just like that other little idiot Ricky, he tries to be like Mark Wright but fails miserably

Things change with trends and generations. Social media has introduced a thirst for voyeurism with the late teens and early twenties, which these programmes quench. I remember Ibiza Uncovered and the like being popular when I was younger.

So far so good Cider .Either he's a decent, caring fellow who plays up to his image on TOWIE,or he's playing the CBB game extremely well.Hopefully it's the former.....at this stage I think it is.

i think the only one in there that dont like him is the sad loner twat that changed his name to something gay, and im hoping he's won him over by now. mario looks safe as houses in the nom process, building bridges a nice fun way is the road to winnersville

Looks a please everyone type, not necessarily a bad thing in the short format
Bowers did much the same, while having his little boys club, which mario also has

I'm mostly off for now Cider, had a good run, but I think he may get trampled under Carol and Vicky in the next few days
Always possibilities for him, and I'll be poised to get back on

Going to have the male vote to himself when Ron goes, Abs is in a coma. He's going to need to show some humour and be happy to let himself look silly some tasks might help this.

Yes, Ron is a slight problem for him though. He'll get a chunk of vote and doesn't look like going anytime soon
The blokes are probably just making up the numbers in this

He did something wrong apparently that was picked up on lf but not aired, his price nearly doubled, it's a bit bizarre. He looked mashed in any case. Playing a great game to my untrained eyes.

The viewers don't. She was in the diary room the next morning and asked who she gets on with in the house and her first answer was Mario. They have just gone ott with the warning confetti.

The MEMs still pick the winner, Mario has a good footing in this regard. He obviously needs to keep his nose clean. He will likely be a vote collector when the prizes are handed out, I'm pretty sure of that.

other thing to note is, GS herself saved mario in that fake eviction last night which ultimately means it will cost her even more of her own support by doing so

It's been 40 year old male punters who look at her twitter following and wrongly think it makes any difference. Mario even beats her on twitter now.
It's like the Tories leading a poll in South Shields

From what's been shown on the HLs show he seems to be a nice, decent down-to-earth guy. He's also good-looking which always helps get a few extra votes.

Why my money is now on Mario to win Celebrity Big Brother
ADMITTEDLY, I don't have any statistics to back this up, and I sure as hell can’t be bothered to go and find any, but I think I’m safe in saying that early Big Brother favourites, celeb or otherwise, tend not to actually win.

Which is why, a couple of hours before this latest live eviction show, I went and staked a whole mad tenner on Mario – who, at the time, had what I figured were pretty generous odds of 10/1.
OK, call me a dozy twonk – I’m well aware of the guy’s lousy reputation from TOWIE – but if you just put that minor concern aside for one moment, ideally pretending you’d never previously clapped eyes on the bloke, I think you’d have to agree he’s come across pretty well so far – and even quite unscumbag-like.
Yes, he’s been impressing on several levels for me, has Mario.
For one thing, he’s shown us he’s smart. All right, I doubt we’ll see him on University Challenge anytime soon, but remember how he saw straight through Big Brother’s first scam of the series – the one where Lauren, Louie and
Sophie were secretly sent next door for the first 24 hours, to spy on the other housemates’ every move?
When they finally swanned into the main house the following day, Mario not only figured what had really happened (been staying in a hotel, my arse) but he also correctly guessed that this late-arriving trio had made the first eviction nominations (rather than the viewers, as Big Fibbing Brother was claiming).
That’s pretty shrewd, you have to agree. Exactly the kind of shrewdness you’d develop, I suppose, by living your life on another big reality show – developing a gut instinct for how sh*t-stirring producers’ minds work.
Also, he’s a slow burner. Which, is a handy thing to be on a game like this. Obviously, no housemate wants to be so nondescript that the producers panic and send in paramedics to check for a pulse (“hello, Abz, can you hear me, er, bro…?”) but at the same time it doesn’t help to have the whole nation adoring you from day one. We’ll only start to find fault, trust me. We’re dead fickle that way.
Way better to tuck yourself in behind the front runners, and then sprint like mad for the finishing line in the closing lap – just as CBB host Emma Willis’s hubby Matt did when, having made little impact at first, he beat the odds to win I’m A Celeb in 2006 (God, I’m tragic, I actually have an encyclopaedic knowledge of this stuff – they should have me on Mastermind…).
“With little more than a week to go, Mario, for me, is now the dark horse”
Also really important, Mario speaks his mind, which ensures he doesn't come across as just dull and pointless. But he speaks it sparingly, that’s the thing. He doesn’t pick a petty fight at every opportunity. He chooses his moment. And the points he makes whenever he does take a pop at someone, you’ll have noticed, are usually spot-on. The guy is actually showing himself to be an amazingly good judge of character. Who knew…?
What all this adds up to, I guess, is that Mario Falcone is surprising us. Surprising us big-time.
Like them or not, most of the other housemates – Charlotte, Louioe, Bruce etc. – are just acting true to form. They’re pretty much what we expected of them. Whereas Mario is showing us whole new elements to his personality, nearly all of them positive.
So yeah, forget what I was saying the other day about Charlotte. Or at least most of it. She’s still a hot contender, and perfect for the show, but she’s by no means the guaranteed winner I thought she was.
With little more than a week to go, Mario, for me, is now the dark horse. And dare I say it, the way he’s mending his image could, long-term, make him the new Mark Wright. Lucky him.
Not that I’m personally that bothered where he goes from here, career-wise. So long as he wins me my £100 next Friday night, that’s all I’m really bothered about.
And then I can stake it on the Hairy Biker fella to win Strictly.
Yep, I really know my stuff.

Yes stage 1 was comfortably achieved. Viewers realising you're not the character you portrayed (as Mike says most of them are) or like Louie, a disappointment.
Stage 2 is doing something positive to swing the floating voters. Plenty of time to do that now that the viewers have given him a clean slate, even on this short run.
