bit early to start the celebration bear, but we will be.
dex has had the 'ready brek glow' since day 1 ![]() |

Doesn't he have a problem with normal socialising? I'm thinking when the nasty people have gone.
It seems to me he has two modes - the childish conspiratorial stuff which is in demand now, and boasting about his life (his fantasies/lies). |
By:
he'll find away to challenge his mind and the others until he's crowned champion H.
anyone in that house is a threat to 'his' throne |
By:
Wit a 5340 green I would love to think you are right but.......
By:
in this field/house he has a good-er chance than anyone, with his skills i think the best chance
By:
"skills" and BB winners are usually mutually exclusive concepts
By:
dexter has been a very cool customer since day 1, apart from a mini-breakdown at mike's bedside which actually worked in his favour, showing genuine emotion and a vulnerability that is needed to win this show.
he's a smart cookie and will use his new power over the other house mates in a very calculating way, he will also use gina's power as when they return to the house and the dust has settled, it will be gina running to dexter for advice. whether she uses it is another thing, but the sensible chat will all be from dex. |

Big Brother Live @BBUKLive 14m
2:48pm: ...they've decided that honesty is the best policy. "I'll say, that's what I said!" says Dexter. #bbuklive Expand Big Brother Live @BBUKLive 14m 2:47pm: Ginxter are discussing how they'll face their HMs if BB decides to expose all they've said whilst in the #BBsafehouse... thats a winning policy dex ![]() |

well it looks like dexter got his way in saving charlie, now he's in control of two thick birds not one
![]() and so his domination of the house begins ![]() |
By:
Control...domination...power? I still ask if those are what wins BB. Another price drop for him I see.

knowledge is power in BB
he poses the most |

possesses even

You were right first time

Daft question probably but I cancelled about 50 quids worth of bets waiting to be laid and my total available didn't change. I was watching it as well. Am I missing something?
By:
no, it would only increase if you layed some of the cash as your liability would of gone down on the rest of the HM's
By:
obviously your green or your red on those bets is not greater than your biggest red
By:
Thanks army much appreciated

Tempted to use my huge Dex green to go all green
By:
i wouldn't blame you, wish i was in that position.
i missed the big prices coz was short of cash at start of series. |
By:
dont see how he can blow this glorious chance tbh
he does not seem to have one nasty bone in his body, reckon he will go all the way from here. bit sneaky but thats what makes him a good HM |
By:
Had a 130 on the HS at 33/1 and then watched him drift on here so took some on here for value.
By:
very nice, i'd probably ditch half to green up the field and live the other half tbh
but i'd try and hold out for a bit lower price |
By:
dex is in control
![]() Day 27: Dexter's man to man with Daley 51 mins ago He promised to have a few words with Daley and he's certainly kept his word - what advice do you think Dexter offers our love-struck boxer? |

Laying Dexter means backing Sallie, Jemima, Wolfie, Hazel and the rest of the no-hopers. Do you really want to add 500 or 1,000 quid green on those? It`s too indiscriminate a use of your Dexter green. Far better to back the ones you think have any chance at all, even if your Sallie etc. reds increase. Laying Dexter might make your screen look pretty, but it is costing you financially. Disclaimer: backing rather than laying will detract from your A/O position. |
By:
Also:
from your figures, above, you seem to have a 5,000 or so green on Dexter. To level out that green, you would be laying 600-700 at the current price. If that amount were to appear on the screen, all it would do is drive his price out a couple of points. At least. The odd 50, or 100 backing a few others wouldn`t create such an effect. |
By:
One thing that you did miss out Tim, is that if he did lay dexter to green the field, on the chance tht new housemates are added, he will be 600-700 green on them too.
Rather than if he just backed the people who may win (gina Sam Sophie dan twins) and a new housemate enters, he will be even more in the red on the new HMs Personally i prefer to lay big greens to profit out, green the field and have more cash available to play around with in the eviction markets |
By:
I am max green on dexter and max red on gina. Waiting for the flip-flop
By:
I tend to look at whether I see a price as value or not. It's too early to pick winners.
Dexter looked a lay to me @ 7 ish and Gina looked a lay @ 4 ish. Yes, you are then backing people you think can't win, but if you back them both on the drifts then your reds on the others don't change much |
By:
Lock in the profit has always been my method. Assuming you think the price is about right
By:
jackie gonna have a word with dexter today in new vid
By:
gina or dex to win hopefully. Prefer dexter as a hm but think the public will go gina.
By:
funny thing is, there all gunning for dexter and giving gina an easy ride.
momentum is gonna build up very quickly on our train |

There is a bit of a disclaimer regarding the effect on his A/O, but maybe it wasn't specific enough. Rightly or wrongly, I'm not too concerned about newbies. They may offer up trading opportunities, but they won't be winning, That is if there are any new entrants at all. I'd still be a backer of a few, rather than a layer of one. |
By:
as most of his green is on the high street, it makes sense he should be laying dex rather than backing.
keeps cash fluid on here, meaning less is tied up |
By:
Hopefully dexter will continue to be nominated so we can see the regular vote winning burst of emotion from him when he is continually saved
![]() |
By:
Not only saved, but called as the first one saved, with the fewest votes!
Go Dexter! Imagine the fun if he were to win! Picture his little face as Emma calls him the winner!!! |

They'd need an ambulance on stanby
