That was very strange. The 1st 4 songs all sounded like they were being sung from a broom cupboard. Then all of a sudden the sound quality improved. |

Yes there was a problem with the sound in the semi-final for the first few songs and there was a complaint given by one r more of those that failed to qualify that was affected who said that this ruined there chances to qualify. An investigation was carried out by the organisers etc. and they ruled that it didn't affect there chances and that the results will stand.

If Denmark does a Kate Ryan and fails to qualify there will no doubt be some people kicking themselves for not laying it. I read on someones blog that she was quite nervous in her performance and that Anouk was very confident in hers.

Think the qualifiers tonight will be:
Denmark Russia Ireland Ukraine Netherlands Serbia Moldova Croatia + 2 from Belgium, Estonia, Montenegro, Belarus & maybe Cyprus. At the prices, my bets are: Belgium to Qualify Lay of Belarus to Qualify Ireland for the win (hugely speculative lol) and top 3 (surely not a 7-1 shot) May back Montenegro to Qualify if can get similar odds to Belgium. Tempted to Lay Serbia/Moldova/Netherlands if they hit 1.1 or lower, but all 3 should make it in easily enough. May lay Ukraine for top 3 if the price becomes tempting enough. |
