Seemed to be in the wrong paper for me. I buy the RP hoping for the odd nugget of information or opinion. His article would be more suited to the guardian etc.

Not seen the article (can't see it online) - but he was recently made redundant from the Guardian where he had a column for a long time about sport on TV.
It was very good and I always enjoyed reading it, but maybe it doesn't sit as well in the RP. |

What we really need is someone to continue the RP atrocious record in specials tipping whilst somehow reaching a larger readership - he sounds ideal

Did seem a little out of place to me,whimsical,observational piece with the obligatory tip to finish (Clare Richards).
Just trying to work out if I'm very young,heavily medicated or if I've had my brain removed and replaced by a clockwork mouse as per the article. |
