Could not find a thread. The guy deserves one even if he's a long shot.

If it's that time of the month for some of the voters (for three weeks in a row plus) you never know.

Although you are right to give consideration to the menstrual cycle by referring to him as a "long shot" when he is only 9/1 gives away the fact that deep down you don't really fancy him yourself Wink

"No chance whatsover" may be putting it harshly. Although, admittedly it's more of a fan bet that anything else for me.

Just can't bring myself to put any money on Rylan/Ryan.
Report bearcub January 5, 2013 9:51 PM GMT
My biggest green based on the fact i think he's well liked in the house.

Seems a decent enough bloke and if he can survive a week with Pete Burns on wife swop this should be a walk in the park
Report superadvan January 5, 2013 10:16 PM GMT
He opened up 2nd favourite with books.

I watched a couple of hours of this guy on youtube and he's too vulgar to appeal to the MEM's.

His longest monologue on BB so far was about bogies (I turned the sound down).

Report bexley January 6, 2013 12:33 PM GMT
I find it hard to imagine who would vote for him. The Paddy comparison is just so far wrong its untrue - Paddy went against his stereotype, showed some real compassion and understanding in the house. Razor is just a big gruff old footballing geezer - an Eric Bristow type in my eyes. He may be occassionally be humourous I'd imagine but to do enough to win this - snowballs chance in hell for me.

Early days admittedly - I just don't think he has the capacity to surprise me.

He's had a 'moment' that defines a potential winner, more than almost all the others can say. He's performed great so far, been the grizzly bear he was supposed to portray and the standing up to spencer is viewed favourably because so many hate spiedi.

Saying he isn't like Paddy is just wrong. Paddy was simmering with aggression, more than Razor, and he even let it leak out without real provocation vs Bobby.

Razor valid second favourite, but not sure he can get past Rylan.
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:39 AM GMT
Only Bailey is saying that stu, and guess what? He already had a large red Wink
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:40 AM GMT
The friendship between the two could mean Rylan voters switch if Razor is seen as more 'deserving'
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:42 AM GMT
Like Julian and Bet last time, it's the only interesting relationship in the house and gives Razor great kudos. You'd perhaps expect him to be repelled from Rylan rather than assume the father role
Report stu January 14, 2013 10:43 AM GMT
I'd be happy with the reverse forecast either way, though slightly better for me if Rylan takes it, and I think he will just squeak ahead of Razor.
Report stu January 14, 2013 10:43 AM GMT
He has the more natural voting base I think, though not impossible for Razor, given reasons you suggest.
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:46 AM GMT
Who had the more natural voting base in Jedward vs Paddy?

Yes, I thought so too
Report stu January 14, 2013 10:48 AM GMT
True - but once I saw Rylan in the house I knew he would have his natural base plus a lot of additional support. I think Jedward suffered because they never collected any of the natural BB voter's support.

I still find the Paddy result puzzling anyway however. I got that wrong.
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:53 AM GMT
True enough, Rylan more voteable than the irishers.  But Razor is having a very endearing love-in with him.  Lasses love this stuff innit

He's already done more than Paddy ever did.  How was calling Jeds scamps every 10 minutes and being totally unintelligible enough?
Report stu January 14, 2013 10:56 AM GMT
Paddy was a mystery of a result for me - beats Jeds and KK (a reality star if ever was).

Just shows the mems will vote for gruff, aggressive older men!
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:56 AM GMT
Big 'regional' vote from the community I suspect
Report GeorgeBrush January 14, 2013 10:57 AM GMT
Razor rather cuddly compared to Paddy, who clearly had anger issues that we never quite saw properly

What exactly was his point of winning it was my question? I couldn't remember him doing anything.

Seemed just to be everyone saying 'Paddy's great - he should win' in the last few days stu

Similar could happen with Razor? Very popular in the house?

Report stu January 14, 2013 12:25 PM GMT
I don't see why not. I'd say he's got a better natural base for voting than Paddy had, though maybe not the block support that must have happened there. Actually, he is pretty big in Liverpool isn't he?....

His gambling mates will have his number on redial for a couple of days
Report bexley January 14, 2013 12:45 PM GMT
Ok for the people wondering why Paddy won - he went against his sterotype - showing compassion in the house. was in tears talking about how he was missing his wife. Showed the greatest respect for women and family values in his conversations. Just as I remember it - wasn't exactly glued to the whole series.
How much of this applies to Razor - exactly none so far - in fact he has only reinforced his aggressive persona - luckily for his backers to Speidi
Report bexley January 14, 2013 12:46 PM GMT
He still strikes me as having a chance though mainly because the rest seem to have had personality bypasses Cool

...or standing up to the relentlessly awful yanks, can see it either way. It's basically about whether or not you like them, and a lot don't.

The messages I read everywhere seem mostly to suggest that people wished Razor had throttled Spencer, so any restraint is presumably admirable

They also think he shouldn't have been cautioned

Speidi are awful people quite clearly , but there can be no excuse for Razors behaviour . If I was Ryan i'd be unbelievably embarrassed that somebody felt I needed "protecting" in such a way. Razor in clear need of psychological help imo .

It was a bit of shouting lol

BB only have themselves to blame. They should have looked at the last time they pulled that stunt - it led to fight night

Razor has clearly benefitted from it whatever you think
