What people on here do not understand IS the word 'is', which IS the verb 'to be'. 90% of the population's English IS so bad that they have poor semantics.

The sky is blue.........oh no no no.....The sky looks blue.

This food is awful.........oh no no no.....This food tasted awful.

The Star is right.......oh no no no.....The Star has a high probability of being right.

Incorrect uses of the word 'is' IS a major problem. What you are saying when you use the word 'is', it's a fact.

Reading up on General Semantics will help you lot to understand better English.

Hence there can be no proof by midnight tonight unless X-Factor release all the evidences which we know isn't going to happen.

At the end of the show, when we have the official evidences, we can compare the results to that of the Star. But guess what....it will not be 'is' but 'was'.

Hence The Star was right, assuming 100%, or The Star was mostly right.

nobody can prove the star info until vote numbers are released at the end of the series. until then each person can use the info however the choose to.

i choose to believe it as i think it's very likely to be true.

You see that's more like it.  Gun at my head I would probably believe it but to take it as almost 100% certain and base all your bets round it is a very dodgy approach I think.

The 5% of doubt would be with regard to the inferred percentages relating to Chris's lead.  I think that this has been over-stated.

Thing is though Dizzy if it were true (and it may well be of course) then why exaggerate his percentage lead in their story?  It's either all true or all not true isn't it?

Daily Star have proved beyond all reasonable doubt that they are "well connected".

The more interesting question in these days of the Leveson Inquiry etc, is how they manage to get access to the voting figures every year and whether they are profiting personally by doing so.

That's exactly what I mean.  It looks very very good info but what if next year we all 'back' accordingly and it's wrong somehow.  That's what I said all along just be a bit cautious but again on this occasion it was spot on.
