I've liked them from the start. Not winners but good harmonies, seem decent young men which is a refreshing change. Hopefully they'll be around for a while yet. Good last week.

You never know but I think if it were on sheer talent they should go through. We'll see. winkysmileyhappythingy |

i hope Louis doesn't get them to do some soppy bollox song again. He really is a terrible mentor. Not a clue.

the girlies that vote for boybands have voted with their feet and the selection criteria has little to do with singing it seems
are there any match bets available for UJ vs D3? |
By:
So it's the girlies that have been betting on UJ?
By:
Judorick, match bets as such available through Top Group catorgory

I fully expect UJ to go much further |

I actually think these lads will get further than people think. Definitely a turning point for them last week, and with another good performance tonight I fully expect their odds to tumble. I backed them last week at 90, and I've just put some more on them at 40 this morning.
Right now they have two worldwide trending topics on Twitter: #All3eekedUp + #District3eekFace They'll never win it in a million years, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them at 20 tomorrow - could be a good opportunity for some quick cash. |

That's just about exactly what I would say about them. I'll be watching you!! wink1 |

District 3 produced the worst performance possible last week and avoided B2. Union J made it in to the Bottom 2. Yet Union J are 20 and District 3 are 110? I'm not saying they will do a Little Mix, but surely that's an outstanding price?

They could have just got 'the bounce' but they weren't great last week yet went straight through. They'll have to improve on that or trouble beckons soon. |
By:
Definitely, but 110 in such a weak year? That just seems an incredible price.

According to my daughter who is a big 1D fan the boys from 1D have been singing the praises of District 3 on Twitter following their performance the week before last. Not so much after last Saturday (27th) but it seems that they prefer District 3 over UJ...
Given each member of 1D has 5 million plus followers on Twitter (albeit not all in the UK) can such influences from such sources swing the vote one way or another? |
By:
The odds keep expecting these dudes to go every week but they keep on progressing. After tonights performance they'll be here for another week. I've made loads on this lot, backing at 130+ and laying each week when they fall.
The only suprising thing is that they aren't being backed heavily enough, but take advantage of it. Rylan + 1 other this week. Probably Maloney for me, in a bottom two that will shake up the betting. D3 could well survive next week too. |

My wife has nicknamed them Boys II Binmen
![]() I don't think she's far wrong, to be honest... |
By:
I thought that was their best effort. Likeable lads they could well be safe. Don't see at all how they are still 80/1 and Union J are 20/1? I'd still say these are the better of the two without a doubt.
By:
D3 no questioning better harmonies by far
By:
Yep, vg last night as deserve to go through. But just a sideshow really. Very doubtful a band will make the final this time
By:
sandwich again last night Jahmene/D3/Ella and faint praise, the performance was much better, but xfactor are gunning for them and I think they go
By:
No question TPTB favouring UJ but a lot of people wise to this event which may well aid in votes to make them Top Band. No doubt from what we know its close between them .
By:
Barlow's comment might get them some votes. Very granny friendly last night
By:
Looking at the timelines on twitter seems so much more support for District 3 than Union J although that's been the case for the past few weeks
By:
The pattern of more love for D# on twitter and the HG is the same as when UJ hit the B2. In terms of value I'm taking the view that UJ will finish below D3. How far below who knows? Someone to separate them maybe? Hope so.
OT just about to win 25 quid on the tennis. Keep saying it is a doddle really. del Potro hard 3 setter yesterday but always going to come out blazing first set. Back him to win match. He wins first set then Joker simply takes over as class and fatigue kick in. Almost too easy hence small stakes...for now. |
By:
nick why do you even bother with specials?

I seem to be the only one who found less support for D3 than in previous weeks.
By:
If you ignore multiple tweets by the same user.
By:
The problem for both D3 and UJ is that they are knackering each others' votes - add in James taking a lot of young girls votes too...
By:
Nearly certain b2ers for me, nothing like the sympathy/danger perception that last week generated.
By:
It wasn't young Twits that voted for them last week, but Mums, imv.
By:
fll I was solely going by the tweets where both groups mentioned. May be a bad way to do it. I do think there is a groundswell that D3 are better but that UJ are favoured...I'm hoping that trumps UJ getting wrapped in the flag plus the Barlow ramping/deramping but could easily be wrong.
