That's the trouble with these shows. A total disconnect between the type of singers who win and the time of singer who sells records. With a few noteable exceptions obviously
Report George Bailey June 2, 2012 10:17 PM BST
Leanne will be absolutely fine. She will be a knock out in the west end. What price would she have been in ALW's nancy show? Like Jai, Hayley, Pip I love her. Nice when the ones I love win me money as well.

Mistake i made was thinking the GBP would decide the winner. I won't make that mistake again if audiences are as low.

Report George Bailey June 3, 2012 10:38 AM BST
I said 7m earlier...what price and where?  Agree last night was very good.  The idiot TPTB should have learned the lessons we could have told them weeks ago.  Few tweaks especially a live results show and it go go on for years.

Interesting also that 7m average viewers meant the GBP swamped the twitterati; though tbf Leanne was hacking up on twitter as well at the end.

Learning curve for gamblers this year but I can see this being the easiest and most lucrative of all the talent shows.

Report squares June 3, 2012 6:51 PM BST
The BBC will not be releasing voting figures and percentages for The Voice UK 2012, it has been revealed.

The Beeb has notoriously refused to reveal voting figures for its reality shows, saying that could influence the way people vote.

It’s in stark contrast to The X Factor, where detailed voting stats, including exact percentages and voting figures, are revealed at the end of the series.

On The Voice UK voting figures, the BBC commented: “The BBC does not disclose this information, however we will in the final show announce approximately how much money has been raised for charity.”

But the news has left a lot of viewers angry, especially as the live final failed to reveal even who had finished in third and second place between Tyler James and Bo Bruce.

Report George Bailey June 4, 2012 9:57 AM BST
As I said before the duet it would be game over once they sang.  Like I said I was shocked at how long Bo's price held up.  I foolishly took some Bo to have a very decent all green book but for layers she was a dream.  I was waiting for flip flop after Leanne had sang her first song.

twitter was useful in that leanne went from zero before the off to the clearly chosen one after the duet. Throw in the silent non twitterati and she was a 1.5 shot LONG before she hit that price.

Well done Leanne and Leanne backers. Her excellent performance and favourable order got her over the line on the night. I bought Bo and Tyler to win their groups, Sold Vince at 26 hoping for last (16 pts) and bought Bo at 18 (pays 20 for 3rd, 30 4th 50 1st) on SPIN which they've settled at 25 splitting the  difference with Tyler which is disappointing but not unexpected...

It's an interesting one, as to what is the pimp slot when the lines open after the 1st performances.
The last one to perform before they open, or the 1st one to perform?
The beeb must have lots of data as I think it's the method used in SCD final.
I'd still say last is an adavantage. Especially in a final of 4. 1st maybe 2nd pimp.
Not that going last helped Vince much if Charlie's figures are right.
