John Virgo, the great snooker commentator who was known as the voice of the sport, has died aged 79.

Sad news - No more "WHERE'S THE CUEBALL GOING!".

RIP JV.

Sad news, listening to JV and WT together during the worlds back in the 2000's/10's were great times. Add in some Terry dry humour and I could sit and listen to the trio all day long.
RIP JV

Rest in peace John Virgo. Will be sorely missed on the BBC coverage. Magic commentator, always created a sense of importance for the occasion with his words
