Very sad. Heard a rumour he had dementia no clue if that was true. Seemed like a lovely man and really enjoyed his commentary. Great player in his prime RIP

A legend gone there certainly, very sad to hear that.

My earliest memories of this game for sure there. :(

RIP Terry. Always remember the story (in Gordon Burns Pocket Money) of how after winning the world championship, Terry went back to his club in Wales, put his name up on the board but no one wanted to play him. They all thought he was Billy Big Bo***x now and didn't want to know him. Then joined matchroom and regretted it, hated the grubby materialism of hearns crew, though he liked the money and flash cars well enough! Lovely fella by all accounts too.

Don't remember much of him as a player, but I'll never forget his commentary when he got "thin cuts" wrong LaughLaughLaugh

Like Ray, another who people seemed to have only good things to say about.

Well remembered lats, pricelessLaughLaugh

Thing about Ray and himself, not sure they were best of pals, at least during their playing days anyway
