I thought I heard/read somewhere that the qualifiers were being shown on Eurosport? I guess they were talking about Discovery+ - unless I dreamt it!

Did anybody definitively see what the score was when Mertens and Sykes got pulled off? I thought it was 5-4 Mertens, WST says it's 5-4 Mertens, but Livescore says it's 5-4 Sykes and someone is betting like they believe that's the case....
By:
snooker.org says Mertens 4-5 Sykes, but beneath says they were pulled off at 5-4.... They might be auto-pulling the scores from Livescore, I guess.
By:
Still no nearer. WST still says 5-4 Mertens, books still priced like it's 5-4 Mertens, but then that is likely linked. You would think they might have seen a big run on the Sykes price though....
Meanwhile, 4-0 Boiko over Bulcsu! Didn't see that one coming. |

Bulcsu steals on the black, 4-2 Boiko

Possibly the longest format woman v man female victory to date? |
By:
She made 4 50s in the 10 frames played, too, which is decent (and unheard of)
By:
Correction, 5!
By:
She'd made 4 in 50 frames this season before today!
By:
Noticed frame 9 had disappeared off the Mertens WST scores briefly a while ago. Was still showing 5-4 Mertens, but the potting sequence was back, and it definitely showed Mertens as having potted pink and black, so unless they transposed the players? (wouldn't be the first time, but if they did it's a glaring error to have not been corrected by now). Frame 9 scores now back (as they were) and ball sequence has gone.
By:
They're fiddling again, now showing as 4-4 40-40
By:
Still says 4-4, 40-40....
