With hardly anyone in great form Ding, Murphy & Allen must have a chance this year? Class of 92 showing signs of age and questions to be asked over Trump, Sslby and Robertson. In the tier below Wilson (both of them) and Hawkins could run a big race but surely aren’t good enough to win it. Who have I missed out?
just tuned in 13-8 wow. brilliant. on selby now at 4.8. hopefully brecel can keep this standard up would be one of the greatest crucible stories of all time

surely he'll close it out? bookies still have selby around the 4/1 mark so give him every chance hope they're wrong. the last frame there was a massive one

ya. brecel was about 50 on here the last night...i was betting away wondering why his odds were so big until i realised the bbc were about 2 frames behind. only realised when they turned the coverage off altogether and switched back to eurosp. never again

"I never believed in my wildest dreams I'd see the dw*rf with tatts as world champion".
Message ends.

after luca beat ronnie all i could see was ronnie doing what he sometimes does rather than luca being brilliant but to be fair luca has played like the late great alex higgins this tournament....not much thought into strategy and if he loses position after a pot just manufacture another way of potting the next ball......been enjoyable to watch and perhaps i should have taken more notice that his moment had arrived....well done luca..

Ironically, I think this guy could could evolve the game in the same way AH did. Although Ronnie is the best break builder ever, this guy can pot stuff I've not seen before. Plays snooker like it's pool would be my take.

When Mark Selby is taking on and cutting balls in from middle of black cushion, all you be d to inow.
He was wasnt anywhere near his best but almost did it anyway.

Selby playing one along the cushion in sf against Allen, Parrott says this is a tough one, any touch at all on the near jaw and this doesn't go in. 30 seconds later: red strikes cushion a good inch before the near jaw and still drops, cue a bit of mumbling and muttering from Parrott and Taylor in comms box and all proceed on their merry way. Nothing to see here folks, proper tight pockets. It's a wonder any player makes a 50 break at all, just lucky the standard is so incredibly high.
