Odd set up, crowd further from the show table than the other tables . Martin Gould is battering happless and cery miserable-looking Jamie Jones who is looking at BFH right now. At least he can go to Berghain later. Jimmy White playing Icelander Robin Hull - havent heard that scary chant thing ftom Hull's supporters yet though...

Thought that in off was a poor shot to be honest, very careless. He's a decent player no doubt but have seen him a few times now and gives me the impression of being a superior version of Brecel. Lashes out on too many occasions, will have to get rid of that if he's going anywhere near the top.

A lot of talk abut how great the venue is - the crowd are miles away from the tables - it looks worse than Wembley Arena to my eye. Perhaps you have to be there. For the players I am sure it good, surrounded by your peers, sub-plots developing on other tables, a nice buzz about it. I get the feeling this set up is what they have in mind for the Olympics if we get it. Wonder how that is going.
Meanwhile, Colin Murray just said "we haven't had a single stinker on the main table" - what about Selby's whitewash of Un-Nooh yesterday afternoon? Didn't he make only 12 for the first four frames! Come on. |

Players seem to like the venue, even ronald speaks highly of it, and fair enough. Doesn't come across great on tv, though, has the feel as if its been played in an airport hangar, kind of cold and impersonal. Also a bit disconcerting when your watching the main table and a sudden huge roar comes in from another match, never heard it so loud or as sustained as that from other multi table tournaments.
But never mind, just like to have a moan. Carry on... |

comical miss from selby on what was basically frame ball rather than making sure of the pot and just leaving a tougher red
