Andrew Higginson must be a great bet to beat John Higgins in the first match today at about 2.3 .... Higginson's played/ win record in this event is 12/7 as oppose to John Higgins 7/2. Higginson has made the qtr finals twice in its recent 5 year history whereas Higgins has lost in the first round 3 times and second round the other two times.

as for betting on this, its impossible to pick winners pre-match.
only angle I can see is laying a player with a good lead at short prices. |
