I agreed with Terry Griffiths, he should of had a warning off the referee.
I felt like John Virgo was sticking up for him too much, although overall I do like JV. |

first time have a word, second time formal warning, third time dock him a frame...simple

I don't buy all these chances players get. If Ding knew he would get fined etc. he wouldn't have done it. Nothing happening to him just opens up the door for others to do it.
I get SO wound up with my computer I feel like throwing it through the window. BUT, I don't cos I know I'll have to buy another one! |

Lemme get this straight. This the same Ding people used to regularly slaughter for basically never showing any emotion?

difference in showing emotion and being pretty classless.

Because you never ever see a tennis player, who knows he/she will get a fine for racquet abuse, leathering the muthafunk out of their chosen weapons....

Nice to see him get angry with himself, and even nicer to see him get himself together and play some great stuff.
After seeing that I have increased my stake on him, love to see him chin Ronnie in the bogs before they meet. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My opinion could be slightly (only just!) byest cos I've never liked Ding. The commentators often say how nice and funny he is, but I haven't seen this myself. He always looks SO damn miserable!!!

think that had a lot 2 do with him being in a foreign land
with poor communication skills vis-a-vis his lack of english think now he's a lot more comfortable in himself a lot better command of english & has lightened up accordingly however the far east & the UK are vastly different cultures & the twain will never meet temperament & outlook are poles apart gotta cut the dude some slack think essentially he's a shy nice guy |

Hi Johnny!
I respect what you're saying and it definitely makes a lot of sense. I understand the cultural difference etc. However... We all want different things and see people in different ways. One mans meat is another mans poison and all that garbage! Until he starts becoming more human I'll keep disliking him. I can't help it. A robot potting balls is more exciting! Anyway, he's liked by a lot of people so maybe I'm in the minority. |

Johnny...
Haha there's been times I've bet on him and wanted him to win. But I've still found myself cursing him anytime he's messed up! Right now I've got a bet on Wasley so want him to lose. You should've heard me when Ding made it 9-8! I used to dislike Marco Fu but now I find him quite appealing. Especially when he ran out the arena after Trump played a really flashy shot last year! As you might have guessed Judd isn't one of my favourites! ![]() |
