not sure about the outrights, but bet of the first round is jimmy Robertson to beat ebdon
By:
Well spotted Pandora, 5/4 is a nice price to beat Ebdon.
I'll put in a double with another Jimmy @ 7/4 :D GL. |

Bottom quarter looks wide open. Now that Bingham has pulled out, Micheal Holt will never get a better draw to the quarters of a tournament. Plays Steadman then O'Donnell then one of Dunn/Lines/Piang Fei/Wilson. Currently 70/1 with Bet635.
Equally Selby has a dream run. Carrington then Bond/Pinches then Alfie Burden/David Morris/Jimmy WHite!! then he will play Holt (probably). 6/1 general looks good value with a very easy draw to the semis. |

This is the same Yu Delu that beat ROS last week, isn't it?!?
By:
Absolutely awful.
By:
Dreadful. Desperate. How did he beat him?
By:
Erm, have you seen the score now , 4-2 Delu
By:
Yeah, he's played well the last two and a bit frames. Prior to that every facet of his game was awful.
By:
Nice to see Jimmy White through 1st round :D

Can't actually recall Hamilton having played this well on TV before. Could easily be 3-0 up.
By:
could be hamilton's day
By:
Hope so :D
By:
If only Hamilton could keep his concentration.
By:
the market has zero confidence in hamilton

what a strange match. never seen the Hamster so animated & Robbo looked like he was nearly crying after the match... and he was the winner!
funny old game snooker. |
By:
looked like robbo had some kind of stomach problem at the end
By:
Duane Jones beat Joe Perry to qualify for China, he might have a squeek at 12/5 against Yu Delu.

By:
how bad is cope, seriously, shocking lack of bottle
By:
during the shoot out - everton said that cope has a condition in his arm, along the lines of tennis elbow/dartitus - he needs medical intervention to help him - but cant get any as its banned. So i am alot of sympathy for the chap - Like yourself and many others - I had down for a guy whos lost his bottle and confidence and prob doesnt practise enough. Which all may well be the case aswell - but it looks like theres more to it, and I guess he's not the brightest chap in the world, so he doesnt have much to fall back on. So good luck to the chap, I hope he gets something sorted as he had bags of potential and should have picked up a title or two when he was in his prime.

By:
agree about his talent,he is a joy to watch in full flow,so sad to see him struggle like he has done
By:
any fancies for tonight guys?
By:
Had a few quid on Ebdon @ 4.8 to beat Trump, hope more than expectation, though.
Banker is Carter to beat Selt @ 3/7 GL. |
By:
win or lose that was value on ebdon. 4-4 final frame. gl

Is Robbo still suffering from his virus? 7/4 Williams is tempting
By:
Any of the bookies got live video for this? BF had it Monday and then neither they nor 365 had it yesterday or for this first session today....
By:
Same here Lata. dont know why the bookies had no video since Mon

The editing of this tournament is atrocious. Very few shots of the players faces, yet closeups of their hands when taking a straightforward shot.
By:
By editing I mean production
By:
Robertson is so far off his best here it's untrue and Williams just can't put it together....
By:
FFS....
By:
Hallelujah.
Think Robbo is potentially very short here if Williams can up his game just a fraction. |
By:
Not if he does that, though....
By:
How many times now has he potted an opening red and not landed on a colour? At least 6....
By:
Didn't see that coming....
By:
Flippin' useless......
By:
So what the hell was that 1.05 chunk all about? 1.11 with 365.....
By:
Un Nooh looks a decent trade @ 5.3 should be in front at some point.
By:
Raging I missed the 1.05 lay
