RONNIE BINGHAM

I backed Ronnie last year for this tournament, but felt he would be under severe to win again this year. He is easily the best of this bunch thats left, Murphy was my main choice at the start with the odds that were on show, but Murphy has been performer lower than what I was expecting, hopefully he will start getting his act together.

Bingham was awfull in his last match against Mark Davis, dreadful standard all match

O'sullivans played average every match if anyone had played well in these matches he's be struggling,he's not playing great snooker any semi pro can win with 3/4 chaces a frame,he happens to be fortunate that everyones playing poorly.They've had chances and done nothing its an embarassment.

He's playing better now though kenco you have to admit that.

How can you not play better if you're getting loads of chances and see the other players biottling it,he's not playing anywhere near a standard that should be good enough to win a wotld title he's looked under pressure from day one yet all of the players have bottled it.Pathetic.

ronnie is playing good snooker but nothing like he played when he previously won this..........his opponents are useless........simple as

Ronnie is playing better than the earlier matches, but again he must be so confident against the players that are coming his way, no maguire,higgins,robertsons selby's where you know there is danger if you mess up, Ronnie will be thinking if I mess this up, this boy won't finish me off. Ronnie needs someone to either get off to a flyer to put his game under a little pressure, at the moment they are all falling over themselves to play average stuff against him.

This burnout excuse could be a valid one. But i think players will just adapt and pick and choose the tournaments they play just like in golf etc. However the standard has been extremely poor this year. Can't remember a year where so many easy pots have been missed.

Been watching a bit of Walden, even though he doesn't look the part when walking round the table, he is playing good stuff.

It's just the mugs who don't play the game will be going round saying how brilliant o'sullivans been playing any other year he wouldv'e been out by now,he's drawn players that are major bottlers in the big arena and there's nothing left in the field.He's bound to start playing well when these muppettts can't win with 4/5 chances a framei'd be throwing my cue around myself if i missed 3/4 chances.

Ronnie should be thinking of giving Bingham an early wedding present, rather than keeping him at zero

Usually the pro's have a pot success in the 90's. Everyone's been way below that, Trump was in the 70's today. No one at all even playing a reasonable standard apart from O'Sullivan now in his 3rd match. Took him 2 matches to get rid of the cobwebs and then hammer everyone.

The difference with trump and osullivan trump knows he has a dangerous opponent, osullivan probably never heard of bingham like me.

You don't know that though. Ronnie's positional play, potting success rate, safety success... almost perfect every shot.

It's because he hasn't been tested and there's no pressure on him. It's been a practice session, but saying that he still has played better than the first 2 rounds.

you should lay him bhoys........we have seen ronny play like this in previous years and everyone gets carried away......then he loses in next round...........people are getting carried away........he has played players operating at a very low level.........ali carter was brutal last nite.........bingham is a pub player..........the type of guy who would be playing BDO darts instead of PDC.

Bingham +8 5/6 that's pretty shocking I don't think Ronnie will be arsed waiting around for him to get 5 frames on the board, the -8.5 frames ronnie looks a safety bet,he will want to get the job finished nice and quickly

You missed him taking on long reds hitting the wrong side of them and potting the cue ball instead. He missed some by huge distances not even the mugs like Selt, Baird, Holt... played shots that bad.

Yep he potted some long shots this match = bad news for opponents as he is always scores heavy when in with a chance.

O'Sullivan has played 4 crucible finals and won all 4. Walden and Hawkins will get hammered.
