the fact he didn't play scared on attempt 3 is partly what helped get him over the line against Macguire. I'd probably back poom if it got close and nervy

that would have been funny if i hadnt layed white at the start of that frame

Yup. Looked very efficient in qualifiers. Showed that versus and under par Maguire too. Started bad here.

It's almost killing me to watch White do so well when I backed him at 340 before the tournament but actually cancelled the bet in last moment, thinking it would not be worth. Also wanted to back Dott but didn't. Instead I backed Robertson, Maguire and Higgins... thanks guys But White is a joy to watch, very fluent and dangerous. As long as he keeps a slight lead he should be the easy winner in this match.

Not seen enough to say for sure but from what I have seen so far I am struggling to remember seeing anyone as bad in the second round.Has he entered Britains Got Talent ?

as i said during the 1st frame it wud be a hard watch for maguire, to be fair maguire didnt play that badly its just dechawat missed very little and it was his final. will never no how he held himself together in the final frame fair play but what cud of been for maguire
also the kick was the massive turning point for maguire when 6-5 up 2 behind and wed of seen this dechawat

this is sum stuff. i layed white but im actually enjoying this
if he wins this frame hes well in this. white has been so lucky this session.

Correct,8 2moro afternoon,finish Saturday morning.
I backed White at 4/7 but found myself willing Poom to win that final frame. Which says everything about the guy.
Anyone who can lose a frame on the 3 shot miss rule and still have a big, beaming smile will do for me.
A really refreshing addition to the game. Gutted I can't watch his session tomorrow. Apart from Ronnie/Jimmy/Alex in their prime, I can't remember the last time I felt like that.
The post count on this thread outnumbers most of the others on the snooks forum.

ha ha this guy has generated more posts on here than anyone who has ever played the game
I hope he plays better in the second session and doesnt do too much dancing and clapping. Otherwise he may end up earning the nickname "The Clown"

just stuck a cpl of quid on poom ,you never know...if he gets a good start and has the crowd behind him we could witness a great comeback,unlikely but worth an interest.

it must be a bit annoying when you come to the table and poom is still there mourning his last shot
will miss his presence at the crucible , a breath of fresh air is Poom Jaeng, congrats to micheal white , played excellently and seems really grounded and humble
Should have fixed it so he would be in the final...can ya picture the scene
