Largely untradeable this because of the delay, stream was a few seconds ahead of sky pictures last year and up with the market.  Now someone is over 4 seconds ahead

It's a joke, Don. Betfair sponsored event and the worst possible advert for inplay betting.

The thing is the stream was 3 seconds ahead of sky last year so it was fine, now it's level with sky.  BF don't operate the pictures but you'd hope they'd ensure the pics were live as possible, but for whatever reason, maybe deliberately they're being delayed

Sky delays seem to be getting worse in general. Hoovering happening on nearly everything lately.

Yeah it's hard to trade much off sky, streams have been a saviour in general, just not for this event this year

I got hoovered a couple of times last Saturday on the BBC tournament but was ok the rest of the week.

Yeah 5 seconds is ok, you need a 3 second delay for this event though really.  But perhaps not given the stream is only level with sky

Agreed, looks like betfair are reading this as they've put it up to 5.  Be better off trying to get the stream up to speed given they sponsor it

Must be a reason why the stream is delayed this year. It's 3 seconds slower than last year. Maybe Sky aren't happy about it being streamed quicker than them, and without Sky, it's not a great Betfair/snooker event, what with them sponsoring the Masters their's obviously quite a common interest in getting along.

5 seconds isn't even enough, money is a 7ish seconds ahead.  Can get a stream from Melbourne within 3 seconds yet the one from Blackpool takes 7

Yup, that's what I was going to say. Should have played with stun. Might of made shots harder but 10 seconds for 3 balls requires very quick shot taking!

I was looking at the clock and I thought he might get a shot on the brown into the middle pocket...if he'd controlled the cue ball a bit better.

Definitely not beating the clock, it's just the stream is 7 seconds behind like Sky, so the 5 second clock isn't long enough to protect but as DStyle alludes to, it's too long to protect as well. .:. untradeable. Amusing to watch though.

I backed Gould a few years back for a big tournament. When he gets in the zone he looks like he can't miss. Was in that zone tonight, potting machine! Class, wish I'd got on!

Sky is usually only 4ish or so seconds behind, so there was some serious delay issues in there to be 7+

Some very poor shot selection by most of the players. Summed by by Mark Williams who give his opponent the only chance he had of winning the game by taking on a pot when a safety shot would have run down the clock and sealed the match.

Most players getting to the table and chalking their cue when the 10 second clock had started.
