Mr Woods drifted out to 5.63 BFSP from 3.4 or so.I cancelled my initial offer and stuck up a offer @3.5 but wasn't matched.

Mr Woods finished 7th of 10 ( beaten 25+ lengths)and was the last horse not to be pulled up.

Not a race to gather much information from apart from the winner which handled the extreme distance and going to good effect.At 7 years old Outlaw Tom could run well again under similar conditions.

I have gone for Mr Woods as my place lay.Hasn't had a good performance of late.Last won in 09 and has never been tried over the trip so some doubts about it's stamina.

After the event but today I place layed Rio's Girl in the 12.50 Southwell.I put up a overnight lay at 3.7 and it was taken.It went of a bit shorter but I'm happy enough with the odds I got.

The selection was posted on the Poop Deck thread a good few minutes before the start.

Rio's Girl finished off the pace and was never in a position to challenge.We could follow this one again.

I got matched at 4.7 which is a bit longer than what I hoped for and Postscript finished 10th of 11 which is encouraging if it runs again anytime soon it is definitely one to watch.

I am looking to get on Postscript in the 4.40 Wolves.Currently a shade under 5.0 this one has a lot in it's favour and should perform well for us.Would be nice if it was a bit shorter in the market but it's a quiet day.

Place lay is Postscript in the 4.40 Wolverhampton.

Douglas Julian defied the trainers good recent form to finish 9th of 11 and showed no signs of improvement.One we can work with again for certain.

Douglas Julian is my place lay today.This looks like a very competitive race with quite a few showing good recent form.The trainer is doing better than usual this month but my selection will need to improve a lot on his recent form to beat those at the head of the market

I am matched at 3.3 for 2 points

Still no real signs of ability from Timocracy.I hope we get the chance to work with it again at a fair price.

Dormouse came 4th and I'm doubtful it merits having too much confidence in it.

Today I an going to go for Timocracy in the 1.40 Southwell.Totally exposed on the flat and I haven't noticed any real signs that it will be much good over the jumps.

Trying to get matched at 2.98 for 2 points.Dormouse if improving on his last run will be hard for this bunch to beat.

Dunshevernick finished 9th of 13 and was beaten by 9 lengths.The horse had previously been run over 8/9f and showed no ability at that distance either.

I doubt we will get it again at such favourable odds.
