Bath v Gloucester, Referee standing within one foot of incident gives Bath a try, he has seen the ball grounded no problem.A minute later the inevitable happens. The mystery man in the TMO box says hold on , there is a possibility that there was a hand underneath the ball , please check ! The referee should of said, no I won't check I was there , I gave a try , but of course , as is happening in football , he caves in and disallows it. Might as well not have referees on the pitch any more .

Which really does ask the question, who actually is in charge?
Agree HLC - thought ref was going to do exactly as you say - "I saw it down get on with the kick"- think comms did aswell. Next the TMO put a pen in the wrong half of the pitch

Its a mess i agree, like VAR in football. Somebody mentioned it in another thread about the scrums taking so long. I have to say this will turn people away from the game. From some of the games i have watched this year, some of the scrums are taking nearly 5 mins to get the game restarted. That is crazy. Maybe something can be done about it but doubt anything will happen soon. 
Just happened again, woman TMO "disallowed try " already given by referee for a supposed knock on , well I didn't see it nor did the commentators or the ref , Amazing
More TMO back and forth - Joy Neville said ball not down - says no try - ref asks to look again and again and try eventually given .

Hi GW, it really is becoming silly now , Just let the ref do the job on the field, obviously if there is a clear error then point it out ,but that is not happening, The TMOs are trying to run the game through pixels.Aside from that some good games today. Thought Sale did well under extreme pressure to not be overrun. As I said on an earlier conversation Toulouse look the team to beat
Yep hlc - TMO for clear and obvious errors. Just going to have to get used to it by the looks of things. Really enjoying Champions Cup and as you say - Toulouse look different class.
