Still enjoyable - obviously not the same without the SA/Jaguares teams. Sadly this and the Currie cup matches don't seem to get much interest these days - because some the games are great.

Yes same here, you just cannot manage a match punting wise on here to any sensible degree.
That aside, I do watch every now and then the club games but as h,l& c has mentioned. Rule changes and tmo's make it difficult to enjoy the sport the way I used to. As a younger man rugby was literally all consuming for me but that passion just isn't there anymore. Having said all that! I'll be watching Leinster v Toulouse later in amongst the racing, snooker and Palace v West Ham. Good luck today gents with your punting. |

Anyone watching Chiefs v Hurricanes ? My package has switched to Australia v Fiji women's international. I'm all for diversity but hold on a bit

also agree with the original comment regarding TMO spoiling some excellent games. Amazingly in dire conditions it's kept a low profile today !

Hi Tc , What package are you on ?

hunt lunt and cunningham : NOW TV. Chiefs v Hurricanes came back after about 10 minutes although I missed the Hurricanes try.

Blues v Highlanders. Nice to see that they've speeded up the scrummaging Down Under. Just watched Blues on the Highlanders line for 10 minutes and half a dozen scrums finally resulting in a penalty to Highlanders. Perfect conditions and barely any rugby played second half.

Was watching that tc , some great defence from the Highlanders, must of had 5 penalties against them in that 15 minutes but held out really well.I actually enjoyed that second half , thought it was really tight and proper Rugby

Yes the defence was excellent, I just have an issue with the time taken scrummaging. In my day a dominant scrum would take less than 30 seconds; now it can take a couple of minutes before the scrum engages. We used to get a rollocking off our captain if we didn't get on with it in the scrums !
