Just before half time when Oz were down to 13 men and had a drop kick from behind the posts,Foley took as long as he could, plus some ( I would of done the same ) but never got penalised,in fact got away with it. The decision at the end was the same incident and the referee made an idiot of himself. What was a brilliant topsy turvy game was spoilt by the stupid stupid decision at the end. I really dont think Foley was showing bad sportsmanship just doing what any player would do in the same position.

It's always about Raynal. Appalling decision and pretty poor performance throughout the game. As soon as I saw he was the official I felt we were doomed.

San Quentin, just because you dont agree with what has been debated on here does not mean its total tripe! You have your opinion others have theirs.
Regarding this game if you want to get rid of time wasting thats fine, but as I said earlier why  did the ref not blow up when there was a chance 5 minutes before half time, its the inconsistency that is ruining the game. If you are a New Zealand fan congratulations on winning the game but I would be more worried about your team not having any idea
about defending, something that Argentina and Australia have exploited. Still lets hope that referees stand up against foul play,as we all know the All Blacks do nothing wrong on the field of play ....Wink

In my opinion the result actually hurts NZ more than AU.Why? The fact they gave up a 13-31 lead in 16 minutes is concerning but this win handed to them will paper over the cracks.

I wrote 16 minutes above but it only took 13 minutes for AU to level the scores.

Good point Reveen,I also thought that could be the case but on further inspection the AB's showed incredible character and resilience to come back and win the game. Will do the team/squad a awfully  lot of pride.I can envisage a rapid rise in performance and dominance of games in the upcoming 12 months culminating in victory in Paris, lifting the grand prize which after all that's what we are all looking to do.Good luck.

Yes, that is usually the cycle in which the All Blacks follow before a World Cup but it also involves sacking the dud coach, which has been delayed due to Thursday's gift.
