hard to believe it is that long ago. what a tragedy for welsh rugby and indictment of the wrfu that he had to go. but it made him a better player. if the idiotic rules had been changed earlier, and he had come back in his prime, who knows what might have happened?

Superb player who had it all. Majestic in full flight, speed to burn,fearless and a ruinous side step off either foot. Not the biggest player by todays standards but with a heart like that nothing fased him.Passionate on the field but always seemed humble off it. World class and proved it in both codes.
