Friend of mine did overs bet on rugby at the weekend and match was cut short by few mins due to fire in stand. Both rugby coaches agreed to go in to half time few minutes early as opposed to restarting game in 37 min.
Should his bet be void on basis all bets are settled on 80 min play + injury time as per PP/Boyles rugby rules?

First of all , a fire in the stands could of been very dangerous so right to of come off early. Just wondered if your friend would of wanted the bet to have
been made void if the bet was a winner! Im sorry though I dont know anything about the rules in this case, though a lot of results stand after half time. |

What was the score and the line?
Hard to say otherwise. ie was it even feasible that the those extra 3+ minutes could have made the difference? If so, it's probably worth asking the question. They do sound like fairly unusual circumstances. |

In answer to HL&C's last line, to use a tennis analogy, if a player retired before a handicap market had already been conditionally determined, the market would be voided, even if the first set had been completed (unlike the match odds market).
