I can't understand why some books have Wales as favourites next weekend v Australia.
Wales are typically a terrible team fresh - always take a game or two to "warm up", whereas the Aussies are battle hardened and have just beaten the ABs.
They've just thrashed Japan and although they'll face a bit of jetlag this week, I can see them comfortably beating the Welsh.
The head to head records shows that Wales really struggle against Australia:

Evening All Well I Think that Wales with seven of the lions playing are good value at about 7/4. I know Oz won last week but before that they hadnt done that well and I an going with Wales to spin it wide and win this. Also fancy the French with 18 points start ,think thats huge.

My Welsh friends at the match felt Aus got all the refusing decisions. Interested to know what people watching on TV thought.
Finally a heads up for anyone going to any of the upcoming Welsh games it took us 50+ minutes to get thru the Principality stadium "enhanced" security. It was a feckin nightmare Got to our seats about a minute after kick off.

Well the penalty count was 15-3 in favour of Wales. Judging by the crowd shots everyone looked like drunken lunatics so the lopsided penalty count probably escaped their notice!!!

Referee was fair, the problem was everytime Wales scored they gave the ball straight back from the kick off and let Oz score at will. They had enough chances in the second half to have won the game just didnt take them.

Adam Coleman out a HUGE loss for us. Not to mention Israel Folau. Overall I think the forwards are in for a tough night and there's nothing to look forward to in the bench. Not sure the two big K's in the centres are the right mix. Tried that last year and look what happened. Not convinced England deserve to be 1.43 though. That's All Black odds and I think England is a fair way off All Black play. The thing I dread about watching the match is Owen F. Watching him lining up for a goal kick is unbearable. They should show that to the terrorists in Guantanamo they'll be confessing to killing JFK just to make it stop.

Gone for England myself on the match odds 1.47. Weather and Ozzies missing a few. Think the opposition will bring the best out of England today.
GL with your bets.

Not sure you can say it was a shyte decision. There was nothing clear and obvious that the ball had touched the line. It looked like it *might* have done from the worst angle and looked like it hadn't from the better one.

silly wee errors cost Scots the lead. They needed those points. NZ bench way stronger should swing it for them. Very good effort from a Scotland pack I would never have expected to see start together

The obstruction call to disallow a try when we were down 6-13 was particularly ludicrous. How can the great rugby brains that oversee the rules deem that Robshaw was onside? Robshaw was running back from offside,a lazy runner the term used these days, so whether he was obstructed or not was irrelevant.

Actually I think the Scots had more to complain about the officials than the Aussies. They should of got a penalty try late on and Reid should of been sin binned. Would of been 15 against 13 for the last 7 minutes. Scotland played really well and as we know the officials should penalise New Zealand a lot more than they do. Ritchie McCaw got away with murder in most of his games. Surprise you were not going mad Northenlite

what was really annoying about the Read incident was that the ref concocted a knock on to stop the play. How could it have been a knock on & how could the ball have shot backward without some intervention. It defied the laws of physics. Either the TJ or TMO were in refs ear telling him about something but he chose to ignore it. It may have been the offside but he'd already blown up for that. Along with deciding Price had contributed to Hogg being taken out in the air Kiw's could easily have been looking at 4 cards on the day instead of two and they would all have been difficult to dispute. Scotland certainly had them under a lot of pressure, just not quite enough

NZ are by far the worst at infringing inside their red zone. They don't even care if they get a YC. It's a price they are prepared to pay. All teams do it NZ are just blatant.

Wallabies the better team for 60-70 minutes but MASSIVE difference in bench players. England bringing on Lions while we had club players. Time for Cheika to ditch his under performing favourites.
Scotland must be favourites this week.

nah Aussies are quite warm favs. You will probably get not far off 2/1 on here for Scotland. Despite last weeks decent showing the pack is still missing a lot of players, particularly in the front row. Scotland don't have the power or squad depth of England so Aussies should get more joy in possession. Scotland will attack the wide channels more so a different challenge for them in defence. Seems to be a feeling Auss don't like turning for kicks in behind them so might see more of that than against NZ. Scotland kick chase is usually very good. Forecast to be cold but dry so reckon we should see a few tries.

Lineouts look about even. We may get the better of the scrum. Scots I think will better at the breakdown. Their backs look fast and the playmakers are good. Wallabies are bigger and should crash over the ad line. Scots slowing down the ball effectively like their NZ cousins, and like other UK teams effective at holding up players in the tackle. Their kicking should be good. Stephen Moore starting in his last test match an absolute. Shouldn't even be on tour. There is no room for sentimentality these days.
I can't see much in it to be honest.

Can only presume this AB drift is "patriotic Northern Hemisphere" money off the back of Scotland's win? Everything else that's happened today suggests the price should have gone the other way.

Good half from the Welsh, TBF. Restricted the ABs to two decent chances, both of which they took, but 11-12 at HT keeps their hopes alive. Got to be worried about the impact the injuries they picked up in the first half will have, though.

I have now had to stop watching the lady's game. A commentator on telly has just apologised for them swearing. I am appalled and have taken a fence. Now what can I watch.

Didn't see that coming. Even without the sending off Scotland looked in control. The tries lost were basic errors & I still look on in wonder at how well SH teams exploit that. The NH sides just cannot seem to score off turnover ball so regularly. About the sending off, why did he do that??? I hate reds unless it is reckless & dangerous, that ticked those boxes.
