Some very diverse comments about a draw today in the media. My own attitude is that it is a result just as valid as a win or a loss. In football, a draw is considered a common result and halfway between a win and a loss but listening to some rugby commentators today you would think that a draw is worse than losing. Same as a dead heat in racing-you both win?

Kissing your sister. The draw would be seen as a loss by the kiwis.

In the grander scheme of things I'd argue that:

Geographically it's a win for the Lions, as the away side
Historically speaking it's a win for the Lions, as the side that has lost the NZ series' since 1971
Team wise it's a win for the Lions, as the NZ side have been a cohesive unit for eons in comparison to the Lions
It's still a draw though Laugh

highly creditable result although really nz could and should have won 3-0
a famous draw doesn't have quite the same ring as a famous win though

MB I quite like the concept of a Geographic Win. I've not heard of that before but will tuck it away somewhere safe to be used at a later date.
