According to yesterdays papers roof to remain closed for match
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 3:55 PM GMT
Yeah I read that both parties had agreed to have the roof closed as light drizzle was forecast for this evening.
I hope I'm wrong, but I have a sneaky feeling for the Welsh to bounce back tonight. Now I just need to decide if I can actually bring myself to lay Ireland.
Report GRANTCKING March 10, 2017 4:27 PM GMT
ireland win comfy imo, best team in the competition
Report SlippyBlue March 10, 2017 6:10 PM GMT
I really fancy Ireland, outright and - 2.5 on the handicap.
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 7:11 PM GMT
My starting play is a Lay of Ireland as I just think they are to short. Will look to back back at anything above Evens(hopefully)
Report The Spinmaster March 10, 2017 8:00 PM GMT
Provided IRE don't do a Murrayfield start they should win comfortably.
Report Kriskin March 10, 2017 8:19 PM GMT
Biggar is a weak link within the Welsh team
Report Kriskin March 10, 2017 8:20 PM GMT
Wales need to get Biggar off.  3 passes causing carnage

O,Conell doting,Mike Brown is a shoe in for Lions full back.Kearney wont be on the plane.
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 8:51 PM GMT
You think Brown is that much better than Kearney ?
Green Book for me now Cool
Report SlippyBlue March 10, 2017 8:52 PM GMT
Absolutely dreadful decision to give a yellow card, not happy.
Report by purpose March 10, 2017 8:53 PM GMT
I think Hogg,Halpenny and Brown are better and i think Rob will spend the summer looking out on the Cooley penninsula.
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 8:54 PM GMT
Ireland are a much better price than pre match imo now.
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 8:55 PM GMT

New Zealand must have been drunk on the pitch in Chicago....Must have been the biggest non triers since Brownes Gazette.

Report nobbybarnesranoverthewrongtrip March 10, 2017 9:02 PM GMT
why is the draw 28? with Wales 2 up at ht surely it should be circa 20?
Report SlippyBlue March 10, 2017 9:03 PM GMT
Dermot Browne on board that day by purpose if I recall correctly.

I'm still confident of Ireland winning.

2 points is a sh!t margin for the draw!

Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 9:03 PM GMT
Are you basing your stats on an Friendly exhibition game played in Chicago ?
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 9:05 PM GMT
Only takes an unconverted Try by Ireland and then it looks good again though.
Price is about right imo.
Report by purpose March 10, 2017 9:08 PM GMT
Basing nothing on any stats, just basing on what im looking at,Ireland in my humble opinion are not as good as some people make them out to be.

Stewards go into the kitchen and try boil an egg and try not to make balls of it.Autumn internationals are some games to get people  running away with themselves.Outside of a handful of players this team is around an age.
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 10:06 PM GMT
Do you only watch friendly Internationals then ?
Must dash,my poached eggs are getting over poached.
Report by purpose March 10, 2017 10:11 PM GMT
No i watch most internationals but i dont get conned by team.Try not dribble any of that down your shirt and if your up around Carlingford any weekend during the Lions Tour keep an eye out for Rob.

Report Biffo2010 March 10, 2017 11:38 PM GMT
Ire 1.7
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 11:46 PM GMT
Ireland were backed heavily pre match between 1.65-1.73
Wales were around 2.8 average.
Report stewardsenquirey March 10, 2017 11:48 PM GMT
Has Vis and Northanlite and RM  totally left the forum now ?
Report northanlite March 11, 2017 6:45 AM GMT
I've no "left" stewards but sadly nobody really posts much of interest anymore or actually debates the merits of a price much.
I'm all for a bit of banter but I don't really want to get involved in this ha ha I won you lost playground bullsh1t?
It's a pity as back in the day if someone put up an opinion and had a sound reason for it nobody really gave them
a hard time if it didn't cop.
Not seen RM post for a couple of years now. Hopefully he just got fed up and nothing unfortunate befell him.
Vis still seems to post if there is anything worth posting about.........in other words, rarely Plain
Report khyber kim March 11, 2017 12:24 PM GMT
The 6 Nations Tipping Comp used to attract 10-15 posters. In fact this place was always pretty busy during the 6 Nations.

There would be about 150-200 posts on the match threads.
Report Latalomne March 11, 2017 1:54 PM GMT
Pics are too far behind these days, now we no longer have analogue BBC providing coverage.
Report curious-cat March 12, 2017 7:35 PM GMT
Some of the more colourful posters were banned.

Rugby Man did a lot for forumites by organising competitions but took some personal abuse some years ago.
Let's hope he's safe and well and enjoying his rugby.

There were a couple of posters who argued with each other but that seems to have died down and this thread's bile was a rarity.
