Saracens/ Northampton..... v .....Wasps / Exeter
I guess a Saracens v Wasps semi- final would nearly be a home semi- draw for both if you pretend Wasp hadn't moved grounds yet.
Either way Saracens must be delighted with that draw.

RacingMetro/ Toulon...... v..... Leicester / Stade Francais
I guess a Racing v Stade semi final would be a home semi-final for both. I imagine Leicester if they win there 1/4 final game would rather go to Paris than to the South of France

Probably a good draw for the neutral.
As it opens up the way for a France v England final in Lyon.

It's interesting that Leic have to travel to France regardless if they make the semi.
The all English semi hardly makes a difference to anybody. Twickenham would seem the most logical venue at this stage. |

Saracens.....Got there dream draw but 2/1 is very short now to beat Northampton/Wasps / Toulon in France
Racing Metro.....Also there dream draw...3 games in France away now from hitting the Jackpot. Toulon.....Same 3 games in France away from retaining the trophy again and making history Leicester...Surely got the semi-final they didn't want......especially after Saturday display in Paris Wasps....Happy enough probably end up playing in Twickenham even if they had been drawn out the home team Stade Francais...Must be happy especially if Racing Metro beat Toulon a home semi-final for Stade then surely awaits. Northampton .....Happy too....Get rid of Saracens and there is noting left to fear.... it could be pay back time for that Champions Cup they are owed. Exeter.....Probably the worse possible draw they could have feared..... ........................................................................................................ Funny auld tournament this year Two 2nd teams causing havoc in round 6 in Exeter and Bordeaux.... Could turn out Northampton or Stade Francais year in the end.......Either way some interesting 1/4 matches await. |
