Argentina win which is very possible it could be an all SH finals series.

I don't think there will be any major surprises next weekend. Except the mercurial French could completely implode or give a gallic shrug and give the All Blacks hell. Argentina are also not a side who will roll over for anyone. I think Wales will come up short but I'm not certain.  I'm only as certain as I can be that Australia will get to the semis and that's because they will be playing the haggis munching bottlers.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND how most on here are underestimating the Irish team.  Have u been watching this competition.  I'll being going all in on them to beat the Pumas

Have to say I have been surprised about how the most recent game affects people opinions so strongly.

3. Johnny Sexton could come back think this guy is a bottler, madigan much better


If you look at the Irish match threads, prior to the France game, the consensus was that Madigan was crap.  Not true, but equally there has been a positive overreaction to his performance against France.  The truth is somewhere in the middle.  Regular readers will know how big a fan I am of Madigan over the years, and his kick stats last season were excellent, but Sexton is no bottler and I would want him taking the presure kicks ahead of Mads all day long.  Without any hesitation.


Equally;

2. Peter mahony another huge loss

He is a big loss and was tremendous against France.  But has had a quiet few months up until that game and many favoured dropping him and playing Henderson at 6.  SOB's suspension magnifes POM's loss but he isn't indespensible.

Peter was getting into some serious form. Man of the match before he went off and was a stand out player against Italy.
