Week after week he makes calls that obviously are wrong.
He is meant to be an expert,and you get the feeling even his co commentators feel embarrassed when he opens his mouth.
Nobody is perfect,but he really does himself no favours every time he opens his mouth during a game.
Nice fella.Good player,but Rubbish commentator.

They're all the same really. It's so annoying when more often then not you can see what's happened in real time for the decision to go which way yet they all look for things that aren't there. Take last night for example,if the rules where played to correctly then high shots and forward passes would have been called but because it's a "derby" (when it's not" then there could have been a very different result

The problem with the sky main commentary is they feel they have to talk all the time- the assumption being the audience does not know the game-true 15 years ago but not now.Let people watch the game-take a look and learn at how the Union commentary is done.When they put the games on in pubs,sports clubs I am amazed at how much the people watching know.Can the present pair change ?I doubt it ,so time they went !!
