Allowing fans to stay on  in Stadium (at considerable expense) , watch the English match and give the players a chance to celebrate with said fans.

Hugely appreciated by the players and everyone there.

agreed. Hopefully they got plenty of beer and food profits as a result. Must have been amazing as an Irish fan staying on to watch the game in a considerable crowd and then see the trophy handed over.

SRFU thinking on their feet.
Watched the first half in stadium bars. At halftime an announcement told people to go to the West Stand to watch the game on the stadium giant screens.
2 nations as 1 cheering on the French. The presentation was the obvious added bonus. I'm sure the players preferred that than a non descript presentation in a hotel room as has sometimes been the case.
