What a strange league - so they play 27 games - how does that work - they play everyone twice and one team three times?  There are 14 teams in the league and they play 27 games???  Thanks for taking the time to explain but I still don't understand the format!!!

Maltese there is an extra weekend of games played in Manchester called the Magic Weekend with 4 games on Sat and 3 on Sun all at the same venue which is where the strange odd number of games comes from.
