BIG bet for me on England @ 1.52
Report furrelli June 8, 2013 7:50 PM BST
Pumas by 6 for me, always underated at home & england nowt special defensively shipping 21pts vs a South American invitation/scratch team
Report Bashy June 8, 2013 7:52 PM BST
gone for wade 1st try scorer / each way other bets will be placed after watching opening mins
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 7:53 PM BST
Got to be the most exciting attacking line-up England could pick, but that doesn't always work out in reality (i.e. Burns starts going sideways and nobody has the sense to straighten up). Very interesting team with some really good young players, but mistakes seem inevitable and they could find a few problems with defensive organisation.

Couple of these Pumas I know nothing at all about, but tempted to have a little interest in the home team here.
Report Rhino-2k8 June 8, 2013 7:58 PM BST
Argentina +7.5 @ 1.83 for me.

Burns has a great boot on him

Argentina 0 - 6 England
Report Kriskin June 8, 2013 8:25 PM BST
Poor play by England
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:26 PM BST
1.5 looks big now, but it didn't at the start of the game apparently.

Enormous price swing, 1.5 down to 1.14, on the basis of 6pts. With kicking like that it might be justified though!
Report furrelli June 8, 2013 8:27 PM BST
10pt wind?
Report Kriskin June 8, 2013 8:27 PM BST
This CHUNT reffing loves the whistle.  Saw him plenty of times in the rabo-direct

Isn't he a kiwi from the super15?
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:29 PM BST
Thought that was a clear Argie pen there. Webber never released at all.

England go up the other end and score.

Argentina 0 - 11 England
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:30 PM BST
Argies certainly will get killed if they don't stop Wade's runs.
Report furrelli June 8, 2013 8:31 PM BST
Ben Morgan - now there's an 8 in form who should be across t'otehr side of the world....
Report debsam June 8, 2013 8:31 PM BST
from a betting point of view ...and remembering the argentinian football team collapse when they played boliva at the la plaz stadium (2000 ft above sea level)...the salta stadium is 3780ft above sea level.....soooooo does anyone know how long has the England team been in situ at altitude and also how long has the argentinian team been resident that high???  at some point that altitude will take its toll on the least aclimatised. Even a big lead can wither away with flagging bodies? anyone got any info???
Report furrelli June 8, 2013 8:32 PM BST
might have.....

whats it worth....
Report Latalomne June 8, 2013 8:37 PM BST
Pumas look like they could concede at cricket score here.
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:37 PM BST
Well, this looks suspiciously like it might be all over already.

Very good performance by England.
Report Kriskin June 8, 2013 8:37 PM BST

Report debsam June 8, 2013 8:39 PM BST
LOL...well the price England is at the moment that thought could be worth a lot to the people with the info i'm trying to find out ...though the England lead looks pretty good at the mo if they can hold on...all over the argies at the moment!  Happy
Report john23 June 8, 2013 8:39 PM BST
Hombres contra chicos.
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:42 PM BST
Contepomi with another turnover. Argies can't win a line-out though so have no hope at all.
Report Kriskin June 8, 2013 8:42 PM BST
debsam - with the modern Rugby player altitude does NOT play the same part it did when it was an amateur game.  Today's athletes seem to  over come itb easily.
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:43 PM BST

Report Ozymandius June 8, 2013 8:45 PM BST
Is this really Ingerlund?
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:46 PM BST
I laid a chunk of 1.14 so it's not so great for me, but I can afford a few blow-outs at those prices. Quite enjoying the ambition from the team in white though.

Got a bit of overs and it's looking like England have got that sorted on their own!
Report Kriskin June 8, 2013 8:46 PM BST
Ozy - it's a joy to watch.
Report sewter lives again June 8, 2013 8:46 PM BST
I have already said how good I think Ben Morgan will become-starting to look the real deal

said it at the time but thankfully he chose England
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:47 PM BST
One of those players, when he's good he is very good indeed. Sometimes he goes a bit quiet though.
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 8:48 PM BST
What a superb watch. I realise that I may be somewhat biased but how much better is Freddie than Farrell? I'll be generous to Owen and just say ten or twenty times. Likewise, Twelvetrees and Morgan have been superb and I can't wait to see Kvesic in the cherry and white.

Big mention to Christian Wade whose all round game has been absolutely fantastic.
Report Ozymandius June 8, 2013 8:49 PM BST
why did the ref blow that scrum up? no need
Report lmfao June 8, 2013 8:52 PM BST
worth a few quid on argies now- just in case a quick score/ 2nd half wind adv
Report Latalomne June 8, 2013 8:53 PM BST
If you fancy the Argies to come back you should be looking at the low teens on the -16.5, IMHO.
Report Latalomne June 8, 2013 8:53 PM BST
Too late....
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:54 PM BST
3-25 HT.

We knew there was some pace out there for England, but I didn't quite expect that. Could have been worse for the Argies really.
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 8:56 PM BST
Am i right in saying May isnt on the bench?
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 8:57 PM BST
No May. Eastmond and Foden on the bench.
Report Kriskin June 8, 2013 8:58 PM BST
Replacements: 16 David Paice, 17 Paul Doran Jones, 18 Henry Thomas, 19 Courtney Lawes, 20 Billy Vunipola, 21 Richard Wigglesworth, 22 Kyle Eastmond, 23 Ben Foden

Glossy we might have a team next year!!
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 9:03 PM BST
Exciting isnt it! I'm hearing good things about young Hicks too. I think he may be a good un.
Report Latalomne June 8, 2013 9:05 PM BST
Surely they're not just going to keep taking 3s, are they?  Long way back if they're going to do that!
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 9:13 PM BST
What a shocker. Pumas could be 12-25 down and in with a shout, but 1 from 4 means they are completely buggered bar a miracle.
Report Rhino-2k8 June 8, 2013 9:15 PM BST
Joseph could have scored on his own!
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 9:16 PM BST
B36 should be with the Lions. Such a superb rugby brain.
Report Latalomne June 8, 2013 9:17 PM BST
Miles forward, no?
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 9:17 PM BST
Now that must have been forwards. Shame.
Report Vintage Tipple June 8, 2013 9:20 PM BST
I'm liking that referee, good view of the game and great interaction with the players
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 9:23 PM BST
Referee has been superb throughout.
Report RugbyMan June 8, 2013 9:24 PM BST
Getting to the point where there are far too many pens from England though.
Report sewter lives again June 8, 2013 9:26 PM BST
like the way Wade and co have a look first rather than just hoofing away turnovers and possession
Report Latalomne June 8, 2013 9:29 PM BST
Surely someone's gotta go to the bin.
Report sewter lives again June 8, 2013 9:31 PM BST

Good defensive performance from England, but a yellow card was overdue there.

Pretty amazed that overs is going down here!
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 9:40 PM BST
For crying out loud, when are we going to address this ridiculous penalty count that we rack up?
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 9:43 PM BST
Strettle does what he does best. Drops a pass.
Report Glossy June 8, 2013 9:46 PM BST
Terrible second hald from England. Pretty much negated all the good work in the first half.
Report Rhino-2k8 June 8, 2013 9:47 PM BST
How many tries are they gonna blow? Terrible 2nd Half in attack
Report sewter lives again June 8, 2013 9:48 PM BST
