if we added up the combined debt of all uk professional clubs in Rugby(both codes), football & cricket i suspect the figure would be utterly terrifying.

I'm sure you are right Northanlite,I think the inference will be that the League clubs may not be in a position to repay the debt.

Doesn't surprise me. I know somebody who was on the staff of one of the smaller, at risk, Super League teams as a conditioning coach. Was on £80Kpa! Now I'm not saying his experience and qualifications don't merit that, they do, he is a medical doctor and was formally a Uni lecturer - but how could a club playing to 4,000 every other week justify that expense on somebody I guarantee none of you would've ever heard of?

There wasn't a lot more in the programme than there is on the site. The Detective clutching at straws on
the murder case was more interesting.

£60 million is peanuts when you compare with the likes of Bolton Wanderers alone with a net minus £120 million.   Better management though is required.

That's £5 million per club, which at 5%(?) is £250K, being roughly 1,000 season tickets. Big whoop. This is someone trying to make a story out of nothing.
