Anyone lucky enough to get the -24 last night?!

I managed to get -25 at 4/5 Korals.

Should be an easy win right?! Biggest bet for some time. I have probably cursed it!!

Wats the weather doin there???
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 2:55 PM BST
Forecast is dry
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 3:49 PM BST
Cap is -31 in places!

Fair play to Korals for the -25 at lunchtime to a decent stake.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 6:00 PM BST
Should be fun watching Glos try and butcher this one Laugh
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 6:34 PM BST
Forecast has been clear for the Gloucester area from around 1AM this morning up until around 5pm tonight when it changed to heavy showers. No doubt you've got some value but your bet could be in the lap of the gods. They played almost the entire match last Thurs in their opponents half yet only scored 11 points in wet weather.
Report tommo0001 October 18, 2012 6:48 PM BST
ar`nt gloucester a bit one dimensional??and the french are never shy of fronting up to a forward battle,id`e give -30 a wide berth
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 7:25 PM BST
This looks a tasty Glos team out tonight.  I've not had a bet as don't like these big caps but to be honest this could be a 50 pointer tonight.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:28 PM BST
Could be just about anything under the sun with these line ups. Looks dry, expect it to be a little damp underfoot though. Incredible performance last week by Glos to only win by 5 against an utterly dire French team, now they are giving away 30! No thanks.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:31 PM BST
As suggested earlier, the Gloucester back-row might be good shouts for tries. Qera at 7/4, Morgan at 2/1 and Kalamafoni at 12/5. Not many bigger ball-carriers around.
Report Green Devil October 18, 2012 7:37 PM BST
guys what your thoughts on over 51.5 match points??

Im looking for a good evens ish bet on this match tonight but cant find any other value?
Report Isotonic. October 18, 2012 7:38 PM BST
Ive gone unders. C'ant see the french scoring many and will Gloucester rank them up on their own? No for me
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:44 PM BST
Well, with Tindall and Molenaar in midfield you may well be right.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 7:44 PM BST
I would rather back Glos to cover than the overs as the French may be a total no show
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 7:45 PM BST
i am fairly happy at this stage the whole match will be dry
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:48 PM BST
That one single play suggests that Bordeaux are a better attacking team than Stade Montois.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 7:48 PM BST
first bomb for Glos

Sharples seethign at no pass there
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 7:48 PM BST
2 1/2 mins for the first try to be bombed, what a d1ck
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:49 PM BST
That play suggests that Bordeaux are a worse defensive team than Stade Montois.
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 7:50 PM BST
So that's 7 bombed as opposed to 4. Well done Edmonds
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:51 PM BST
Looked suspiciously like a forward pass at the end there, but already looking like a case of how many can Glos be bothered to score.
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 7:52 PM BST
not a bad start, try butchered already! 5 miss points from Twelvetrees too Sad
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 7:57 PM BST
knock on by Gloucester there? Looked like it.
Report Rhino-2k8 October 18, 2012 7:58 PM BST
Definite knock on in the build up
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 7:58 PM BST
Well, that was a clear knock-on from Gloucester. Extremely fortunate for them to now be 10 up.
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 7:58 PM BST
I do not mind though!
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:00 PM BST

Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:00 PM BST
come on ref ffs how blatant was that and he gives nothing???
Report Rhino-2k8 October 18, 2012 8:00 PM BST
Wow how can he miss that
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 8:00 PM BST
christ that was blatent

ref on my side here
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:00 PM BST
Err, how much has this ref had on Gloucester?

That's 12pts he has cost Bordeaux so far.
Report Banned_Banks October 18, 2012 8:01 PM BST
How is that not a penalty try?
Report Fajizzle October 18, 2012 8:01 PM BST
well done ref Excited
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:02 PM BST
This game is mickey mouse enough already, doesn't need these sorts of decisions.
Report TomCel October 18, 2012 8:02 PM BST
That's a joke!  Couldn't they ask to goto video ref!?
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:02 PM BST
The French do look to have much more of a clue than last weeks lot
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 8:03 PM BST
Yep French look half decent
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:10 PM BST
French have been robbed of 12pts and are currently only 4pts down.

Well done Gloucester, classy......
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 8:10 PM BST
Glouccester have been pretty awful since the first five mins. Bordeaux should be in front here.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:11 PM BST
now that is how to do it
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 8:12 PM BST
That's the problem though. If they string five passes together they look like scoring a try every time.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:12 PM BST
How easy was that? No real pace on the ball until it got shuffled all the way to the wing.

Would have been amazing if Sharples hadn't scored tonight.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:12 PM BST
12T killing cap backers at the mo
Report ppkingman October 18, 2012 8:14 PM BST
Indeed Vis

French look good for a couple of tries so could prove crucia
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:17 PM BST
French are a lot better than I thought and Glos are making their usual high number of errors.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:19 PM BST
As soon as someone inserts a brain in this Gloucester team they will be a tough team to beat.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:20 PM BST
Looked a little harsh there. Gloucester a shambles at the breakdown and the French bloke on his feet is penalised.
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 8:21 PM BST
Not sure how that was a Gloucester penalty. Bordeaux defender was first man in and no ruck formed.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:22 PM BST
Not even a little harsh on replay, cast iron wrong way round.

That's 15pts for the ref.
Report Rhino-2k8 October 18, 2012 8:22 PM BST
Good TRY
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:22 PM BST
No arguments with that one. Great run Morgan, this is what will keep happening if they do the simple things well.
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 8:24 PM BST
Morgan at his best when he gets up a head of steam in open play. Great awareness to look for support too. Cap should be a canter now, but I'm not being helped by a full strength Bath losing to a bunch of kids in France.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:29 PM BST
Question of attitude now. If Gloucester want to they should easily do the current cap and win by 40+, but are they going to faff around and let Bordeaux in for a few?
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:29 PM BST
Agreed lads. If Glos keeping doing the basics with a big lad who can pass up the middle and ball to either wing then they win this by 50
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:31 PM BST
Wonder what Bath are up to losing 10-8 at HT?
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 8:33 PM BST
I can't imagine Bordeaux coming out second half and trying too hard here. I've no doubt that Davies will be telling his lot to put on a show for the fans though. Bordeaux have a bench full of kids whereas Gloucester have a bench full of seasoned pros. 37 points isn't enough for Bordeaux here I don't think.
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 8:35 PM BST
And they were 10-3 down Vis. They couldn't have put out a stronger side and are facing a bunch of academy players. Hopefully a rocket from Gold at HT does the trick, but I'm not holding my breath.

Could we have a show of hands for who is using NEW (and apparently improved betfair) and who is using the OLD betfair?

I've been trying to use the new one and have so far found unmatched bets disappearing, cancelled unmatched bets that I later found still sitting there and every other time i try to place a bet it tabs to the bloody search bar.

Back to old for me.

Report Isotonic. October 18, 2012 8:56 PM BST
points line is 46 at powers for anyone interested. Yet you still have people on here wanting to back 52 at 1.5 hmmmm
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:57 PM BST
Seems absurd to me on a site that deals with large amounts of people's money that they release a version that doesn't appear to do the basic requirements properly.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:57 PM BST
I much prefer old RM.

Have a lot of bets on Super Bowl this season and new site doesn't even list matched and unmatched in any logical order which is a right pain if you want to selectively go through and delete a few e.g for tonight when there is a game on later.
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 8:58 PM BST
Says 54 on my screen Iso. If 46 comes up I imagine it was a typo by them.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 8:58 PM BST
The laugh is 365 are a joke bookies as we know, but I use their site a lot for score updates and live NRL feeds.  The ease of use of their betting options makes BF look like total amateurs in comparison.  In betting site terms 365 is about 10 years ahead of BF

Is this going to be the first ever scrum to last half an hour?
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 9:06 PM BST
Maybe the first time I've seen that tactic of swapping your entire front-row work.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 9:08 PM BST
this ref is a joke. 12Ts never said posts.  He might as well just kick to touch now from the tee Laugh
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 9:08 PM BST
Is there any point in going for 3 here?
Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 9:13 PM BST
Is there any point in anything this second half? Getting a tad boring....
Report big_dunc October 18, 2012 9:15 PM BST

Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 9:19 PM BST
Ah well, you cant trust anyone in this competition. Gloucester have been rank average for a team that are 19 up at home. All decisions, bar Will James' binning, going their way and they have really struggled to score.
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 9:20 PM BST
boll*cks ref.  JSD was never allowed back on his feet there

Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 9:29 PM BST
Utterly dire. First half was erratic, but decent enough to watch. Second half has been atrocious, although still not as bad as last week's Gloucester game.

are we allowed to mention that this could be a total fix? Gloucester scored every time they ran at them 1st half and haven't tried running at them once in the whole second half.

Add in the ref making it up as he goes along, it all looks a bit dodgy
Report TheVis October 18, 2012 9:38 PM BST

Report RugbyMan October 18, 2012 9:42 PM BST
That's just Gloucester though. Look great when given the opportunities on a plate, but when the defenders decide to tackle they have no idea.
