low points line, raining hard?
By:
rain doesn't look set to last - though of course things will be wet now.
Leaving this one to in-play though overall I think the French are the better team. Fofana anytime at 3/1 under the PP offer is my try scorer interest. |
By:
sorry 4/1 make that
By:
Joubert 13/2, lapandry 11-1 and Kayser 12-1 anytime for me.
Sarries/Clermont 8-1 Under 37.5 10/11 Sarries try before 38 5/6 Sarries 10/11 as a starting position. |
By:
that sarries/clermont price is surprising ging - too late for me to get on that so good luck
By:
Yeah, lads were out of line in that 1, heres hoping.
By:
Thats good for sarries backers
![]() bit shakey that lad |

Feckin Norn iron commentator. Surely Sky can find someone with a less offensive accent/voice!

5 mins in and no forum whinging about Alain! Must be a record

Clermont firing so far. Only team I can imagine beating Leinster in this comp, but they are in serious debt to their fans so far in the Heineken. Maybe this is the year.
By:
was that really high?
By:
Not the first time Parra has rolled around on the ground a lot after a hit. If even Charlie Hodgson is clothes-lining people this game will be savage.

Rhys Gill has never been able to scrummage properly.
By:
Long way back for Sarries now.
By:
Gill, Brits and Stevens certainly isn't a scrummaging trio to be scared by.
Shows up the fact that Sarries dont quite have the finances of some teams. Props cost a lot and I dont think they can afford the very best. |
By:
Gill has always been an imposter. Nieto might not offer much around the park and probably wouldn't last the 80, but I'm amazed they didn't start him today given how strong Clermont are at the set piece.
By:
Nieto is probably the most consistently illegal scrummager around. Would no doubt do a better job here though.
By:
Here's the rain
By:
Not really sure whats wrong with that from Kayser. First in, not shifted off the ball, hand on it throughout. Harsh.
By:
What's this nonsense that the Sarries fans do with their hands before a kick? Seen them at it before, I think German soccer fans do a similar thing.
By:
sarries are garbage here, glad i didnt back them
By:
No great surprises here. Greasy surface, more rain falling, two very strong defences, only 3-9.
Quite possible that the deciding factor will be the scrum and very little else. |
By:
It's not too surprising, they've looked out of their depth whenever they've come up against the top European sides before and Clermont are a power house who have felt the pain before. Sarries don't have the experience of Leicester and Northampton in this comp yet.
By:
Parra down in a heap again after getting brushed. Ridiculous kick from him as well. All those runners and he gives Sarries easy ball.

wALES ! WALES !

A step too far again for Sarries I think.
Big step up to take on Clermont. Extraordinary amount of talent in that French team. Got a bit of Clermont -7.5 at a nice price, so got to hope they dont do a French thing and shut down now. |
By:
I wouldn't say Byrne is back to his best CC, but he's certainly playing better than he did in his last year at the Ospreys.
Not kicking pens to touch probably helps! |

By:
there we go then the two best teams in europe in one semi
I make Clermont favs for that, but we will prob get scratch on the market. |
By:
saracens toothless in attack, really being showed up here as a very average side. Eng teams in general haven't been at the races at all
By:
Where is it going to be Vis, or do Clermont get the choice now?
Can't be their main stadium can it? But still essentially a home game. Definitely the final as far as it matters. Be funny if the winner lost in the final, but I cant see it. |
By:
need a try from somewhere but haven't even threatened so far
By:
Almostly certainly in St Etienne.

SF is in Bordeaux
