St David's Day next week. It's a great time to be a school pupil in Wales. The houses compete with choir singing and recitations etc. We wear our daffodils and leeks in our lapels and take huge pride in our Welshness.
                            No wonder the bigger country over the border continues to be jealous....and vote Conservative.

England done well to almost beat Wales considering there were so many infringements were committed and missed by Walsh, but a team knowing a ref like Walsh is involved will allow it become a free for all and that it did.

No, just raising a genuine question. It's not pocket talk as I tipped Wales going on my posts on the game but the offside line wasn't policed, flopping was ignored, in from the side and hands in the ruck to slow down ball was ignored more than any match I've seen, binding in the frontrow was on the arm and the tackler obstructing the scrumhalf. Play the ref I suppose ....

Not sure what tiny nation has to with it but Samoa has the same population as Newport.

The Tri nation teams have been playing on the edge of the rules for as long as i can remember.Take Richie Mccaw for example......that guy gets away with so much in a game it's ridiculous and he practically lives offside,as do the SA back row.

Wales are getting very close,in style of play, to being a southern hemisphere outfit and you can see most six nation teams are struggling to handle it.They've(Wales) got a very "sneaky" back row who've been getting away with murder this 6 nations and if you add that to the huge amount of talent they have,not many teams are going to cope with it.

In all fairness,i was amazed how well England defended yesterday and i think they'll be a formidable team this time next year.....trouble being this Welsh squad could be well out of reach by then.

probably the biggest part of test match rugby is knowing how far you can push it with each referee and learning during the game and adjusting as necessary.

^ damn straight Dylan. You cheat until you get caught & that is the nature of a game where every inch counts but in the world cup & now this tournament we have seen some terrible yet crucial calls that are deciding games.

The best sides in the world always live on the edge, its a testament to wales strength and quality that people even suggest they are getting decisions, the all blacks have been hearing this for decades, and i for 1 am glad we are now getting the same,wales are the best northern hemiside team by far at the moment, and anyone not filling their boots at the mo wants their heads read.

to be honest we seem to be getting a lot of crucial decisions going our way.and not just the 50/50 ones .some of the penalty's and free kicks  given against opposition scrums when mike philips stands up just as the scrums engage and takes a back step are laughable but refs keep falling for it.roberts and davies were yards offside several times before rroberts was warned on sat but refs seem to ignore it .as for not releasing the ball once tackled we again get the benefit yet the opposition gets hammered every time. i said on here last week that i thought our luck with refeering decisions was going to end at twickenham but again we had the benefit of some dodgy decisions

Your captain shouldn't have been an idiot then and got himself sent off should he? If that had been a Frenchman and didn't get a red card for the same tackle you lot would be moaning that you would have won against 14!

I was sent off in that match for a tip-tackle on Vincent Clerc. Midway through the second-half at Twickenham I was taken out in a line-out, when I saw some five feet in the air, and landed on the floor with a crash. It was my opposite number, Chris Robshaw, who had touched me while I was airborne, but the referee satisfied himself with awarding a penalty and not showing a card.

I thought that was the right decision because there was no intent involved, but is there any difference between a tip tackle and tilting someone who is a long way in the air at a line-out? When I was on the floor, some of the boys were saying that I should milk it to prompt the referee into giving something more than a penalty, but I got to my feet straight away.

Warburton has handled himself very well so far throughout the hoo-hah of red cards, which has done him no harm at all. His performance last week was exceptional as well.

Not very noble to suggest that your team-mates were telling you to cheat though and telling all about how you took the moral high-ground. He has a good point about the relative dangers of different offences, but there are better ways to say it.
