Max Evans - Glasgow to ?
A nice touch from planetrugby here: http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,25883,3825_6751876,00.html I thought at first that they had simply put up a photo of the wrong person, but if you look closely you can see that it is in fact (probably) a tiny bit of Max Evan's face at the side of the screen, as he tackles Cedric Heymans (who is in full view!). |

Tony Buckley - Munster to Sale
|
|
By:
Thats a terrible signing for Sale, Buckley is a mental midget who needs a hug before and after every game. How is he going to respond once he's out of his comfort zone.
Mike Ross- Leinster to Munster (maybe if I say it enough it'll come true) |

Australia rugby star Matt Giteau has agreed a contract with French club Toulon up until 2013.
The ACT Brumbies back, who has played for Australia at out-half, scrum-half and centre, will join the Top 14 side after the World Cup later this year, after he confirmed the move on Twitter yesterday. The 28-year-old will captain the the Brumbies in their Super Rugby season opener against the Waikato Chiefs on Saturday. Giteau has played 91 Tests. Munster confirmed on Friday that they have completed terms with BJ Botha
The transfer is subject to the usual procedure of him passing medical and fitness tests and securing a valid work permit – that will see him join on a two year contract starting at the end of the current season. Commenting on the news Munster coach Tony McGahan said, “”We are delighted that BJ Botha has opted to join Munster. He is a player of the highest calibre who we believe will add significantly to our squad.” |

BBC Sport yesterday - Northampton Saints have secured Wales international scrum-half Martin Roberts and London Irish fly-half Ryan Lamb for the 2011/12 season.
Martin Roberts Scarlets to Saints Ryan Lamb Irish to Saints plus Molly Malone Irish to Aussie (retiring I think?) So no no.10 for Irish next year then..... nowt diffo then this tbh |
|
By:
Irish have probably looked best with Bowden at 10 anyway. Thankfully we will be spared the awfulness of Malone next season.
Assume Geraghty is leaving Northampton? Can't see why they would have Lamb, Geraghty and Myler all together. |
|
By:
Agree with Bowden, maybe the grass isnt always greener in the case of Geraghty? With Tom Homer's boot we dont need to worry about picking up a dead-eye kicker at 10 which could leave Delon another inconsistent this season looking for a new home as well??
