Records of the Big Dinners had been removed , but plenty of other fine days out at The Etihad

Not a good look if this mob as it seems , were bang at it ..

They all love a big Dinner , Big  Dave Lammy had a Big Dinner Budget

I wonder if Johnny Football was ever at the Man City v Arsenal games,  with Andy and the UAE Lads ?

Do you think andy should play the "It was a personal gift I'm going to resign and hold a by election card" like clacton man did?

Did that £1million illegal donation oysters & champagne lunch go away or is it still going through the wheels of (pathetic) justice?

If andy can be bought with a £700 dinner, imagine what those crypto billionaires bought for their £millions in "persoanl gifts"

Farage wasn't even a politician when he received the gift. Handy Andy was the mayor in ultimate charge of planning decisions, ffs

Classic case of cant defend the indefensible, so try and distract it by using someone else to use as a decoy.

his relationship with Man City as a football operation is totally irrelevant to his job just now or the club’s football charges, in his role as mayor he was not a football regulator and still isn’t. He’s allowed to take an invitation to a football match

If he helped the clubs owners invest billions of money on contentious planning applications in
Manchester ? that’s a different story, was there any contentious planning applications he helped ? I don’t know, anyone know ?

I'm not defending any of them by the way as they are all at it from both sides. But you cant defend one by using somebody else as an example as 2 wrongs don't make a right as we all know.

MC's football issues have simply put his activities with the arabs under the spotlight.

Do you feel like the fact they've been found guilty of cheating financial rules in football, they were above board with the local authorities ?

Bias knows know bounds. It stinks, obviously. This whole 'Manchesterism' thing always felt like a construct. Perhaps a construct with massive backhanders.

I’ve already stated I have no idea about Burnham relationship with the Arabs, historically or currently. I doubt sheikh will have him on speed dial.
Regards investment in Manchester, I don’t live there, only people who reside there will have an informed opinion.
Regarding Manchester City FC, I believe they should suffer serious sanctions, I think we all know they will definitely get relegated, who knows how far, unless “the evidence has substance”
On the pitch they will be a big loss quality wise to Premier league, we seen that Sunday afternoon.
Feel sorry for fans but they broke rules badly.

Regardless of what is said , there will be discussions as to what man city would accept , neither the government or the premier league want to jeopardise the arab money ,
in my opinion they have to remove their titles otherwise what is to stop other clubs thinking hey we will take a season out the premier league to win lots of trophies .

I don’t support any English club but enjoy watching the quality matches.
Stripping titles is obviously a subjective opinion. Maybe clubs who were in competition against them should have a vote.

When I was a lad, in the 1970s, I used to work at my Dad's scrapyard in Swinton.

The highlight of the day was always pie, chips and a barm cake from the local chippy.

If you asked for a meat pie, they'd ask if you wanted any dripping, if you did they'd get the jug and funnel out and  pour it into the pie Laugh

I doubt Andy could handle one.

In my opinion it would seem ridiculous if they possibly get points deducted this season when they havent won anything and havent had charges for this season , but for the seasons they had the charges they keep what they won .

I think a large fine circa 700m squids
would fettle them for a few seasons.

Taking back trophies and titles is neither
here nor there, as they've celebrated them
and been paid out.

A bit like removing prince Andrews titles.

But if that's what they want to do then
sobeit.

Just relegating them and allowing them to
retain the benefits of cheating seems harsh
on the rest.

I force owners to sell too, if they've cheated.

Newcastle owners have invested in newcastle
I'd expect some deals have been done and they will be perhaps looked at more sympathetically as they are Newcastle owners.

Burnham is wearing a different hat now, and
he should remember that.

What was good for Manchester should not impact what is now happening in EPL, and
he can express support for friends, but must
not interfere on their behalf.

Fine them a billion to start with . with none of it going to other premier league clubs etc who will just pay players and agents more  , to pay back the season tickets for the supporters in the years they were charged and improve grass roots and public football facilities .

Another big issue that’s not been discussed is the players contracts, obviously because that’s personal between club and player, but maybe they have get out clauses, perhaps wasn’t an expectation this could happen, but I can assure you all clubs will have a get out clause if we get relegated on bonuses, 3 points money in championship is not worth 3 points in premier league.

I'm told (hmmm!) Anderson has no clause.

Most of the stuff I've been told about this cheating case
has turned out correct

But wouldn't put monets on it....

Strawman, it would be great if they shared out the cash from fine in lower leagues.

Prem league clubs can sue cheateh directly
if guilty verdicts are upheld.
