There was a BBC 4 Storyville documentary film biopic on her last night. (available on i-player)
First 20 minutes outline her extensive career, from acclaimed writer, on to tv agony aunt, to editorship of top end premium glossy magazines.
She's undeniably a vivacious highly intelligent and capabale woman to have had such a wide ranging career.
After the biopic, the film moves on to the trial, you see testimony from both sides and it becomes obvious why the jury found in her favour and awarded her $5million
Then donald doubles down and keeps repeating his lies, so she has to go for a second trial. Even on the last morning of the the trial he repeats the lies again infront of the media. So the jury had not choice but to award her $83.3 million in an attempt to prevent his repeated contempt of court.
He lost all his appeals against the $5million and has paid it to EJ Carrol, he is still appealing against the $83million but is unlikely to win any appeals and will soon have to pay that.
To EJ, her career was built on "Truth, No BS" (a valuable asset in business), In her eyes, she couldn't let his lies stand as it was ruining her career.
It was all about his lies, and she won.... twice.

She went after him because he called her a liar, and then she demonstrated she was liar when she lied in court about funding. If I was on that jury I would be livid they didn't tell me she committed perjury in that same case lying about funding. If I had known that I wouldn't have taken her word for it in a he said she said case without any evidence or witnesses.

There were no witnesses to the incident she claimed happened. The only thing they witnessed was E Jean claiming it happened after the supposed incident. With no evidence and no witnesses the jury had nothing but the word of a perjurer. If I had been on that jury I would have been livid they didn't tell me she lied about Reid Hoffman funding her lawyers. There's no way I would have taken the word of a perjurer in a he said she said case with no evidence and no witnesses, and I am sure you Escapee would feel the same because we all want the truth.

According to Ms Carroll, the two ran into each other at the Bergdorf Goodman store. Ms Carroll accompanied Mr Trump to the store's lingerie department where he manoeuvred her into a dressing room and allegedly
assaulted her, Was there no shop assistants working , why did she not scream out .. That she was heading into a lingerie Dept with him ,all sounds very strange to me |

So this supposed incident happened in 1996 and she was by her own admission a massive fan of the apprentice which first aired on tv in 2004.

She was a young woman, prepared to take the assault and brush it off as "That's what men do to women, I should have been more careful to avoid putting myself in situations where it is easier for a man to assault a woman".
But then decades later, he called her a liar, repeatedly. She'd let the assault pass, but she wasn't going to let him destroy her career, so she took it to court, and the JURY HEARD ALL THE EVIDENCE and found he was a liar. People on the left often falsely claim they have received death threats, and she has a long track record of lying, but it's the right wingers who actually get shot by leftist lunatics. If I was on that jury I would be livid they didn't tell me she lied about her legal funding from Reid Hoffman. If I had known that I wouldn't have believed her over the president of America in a he said she said case with no evidence, no witnesses and she lied about Reid Hoffman.
