She's undeniably a vivacious highly intelligent and capabale woman to have had such a wide ranging career.
After the biopic, the film moves on to the trial, you see testimony from both sides and it becomes obvious why the jury found in her favour and awarded her $5million
Then donald doubles down and keeps repeating his lies, so she has to go for a second trial. Even on the last morning of the the trial he repeats the lies again infront of the media. So the jury had not choice but to award her $83.3 million in an attempt to prevent his repeated contempt of court.
He lost all his appeals against the $5million and has paid it to EJ Carrol, he is still appealing against the $83million but is unlikely to win any appeals and will soon have to pay that.
To EJ, her career was built on "Truth, No BS" (a valuable asset in business), In her eyes, she couldn't let his lies stand as it was ruining her career.
It was all about his lies, and she won.... twice.

assaulted her, Was there no shop assistants working , why did she not scream out .. That she was heading into a lingerie Dept with him ,all sounds very strange to me
But then decades later, he called her a liar, repeatedly. She'd let the assault pass, but she wasn't going to let him destroy her career, so she took it to court, and the JURY HEARD ALL THE EVIDENCE and found he was a liar.
That's the facts, anyone that disagrees with the facts is a bonkers saville type enabler.

To have the diverse high flying career she had over decades... could only have been done by a highly intelligent person. You don't get to be editor of the high end glossies if you're an absolute loony. (liz truss excepted)
Eccentric maybe, because not many people build a career on "Truth, no BS", the ability to quickly grasp
the truth of a situation and verbalise it with out BS will get you far in a business environment if you are on the money. She went much much further in her career than any average joe or joanna. The absolute loony label doesn't stick.

It's tempting to ask if she's an absolutely, looney, how did she manage to beat a billionaire with all his money and millionaire lawyers and his previous court experience of over 4,000 court cases.... TWICE? She beat hin twice for over $88million.
