"For many years, farm vehicles, construction equipment and other off-road vehicles have used what's known as red-dyed diesel. You know what that is? I don't know what the hell it is, but whatever it is, it is supposed to be very good."

Lol this dude is stand up comedy gold.

Letting red derv into the supply chain is gunna be a problem imo but thing is he is it's" deferred payment " instructing authorities to do whatever to kick tax payment down the road, pretty bizzare and looks desperate.
Can imagine more of this but reckon he has just fckd up Big Time with Russian diesel (red diesel lol)

Great stand up routine but looks like it's time to pay the piper, although will be looking to do a deal lol (with the devil).

On a serious note the it's very interesting looking at UK and it's preparedness for this energy squeeze , it's very sloppy to say the least.

This has all been a long time coming and looks like successive governments have failed miserably to get ready for what has been in post for decades. We were forced into net zero policies but they never had anything like a plan in place.
Hopefully it rains heavily over winter and at leadt the water supply might be gaureenteed.
If only someone had mentioned climate change.

imo, it is overly generous to describe our preparedness as sloppy, we have maximum storage capacity of gas of less than two weeks and actual storage of about two days. it wouldnt take too many negative surprises to make us very cold this winter. and our electricity supplies seem no more rigid.

Live in a modern flat, can't remember the last time we had the heating on.

Of course last week the Tories said they want to build new homes without insulation.
