Shortly after Trump's announcement, the US Treasury formally issued a temporary license allowing Russian diesel into the market.

An envoy for Putin, Kirill Dmitriev, welcomed the deal on social media, saying: "Russia-US co-operation on diesel and energy will benefit the world."

But Volodymyr Zelensky hit out at the deal, saying "gifts to Putin will not work for peace" and that Russia would repay the diesel with "further terror".

Where is Russia getting the diesel

There's huge fuel shortages in russia

The Russian people will be delighted their diesel
is going to China.

Trump got a month or so to do what he wants.

If he loses power, it's likely he's restricted, severely

The notion that the man who said he would end the war with a telephone call "ON DAY 1" actually wants to end the war went out the window a year ago.

sanctions on the highest court in the civilised world?

I don't think "The willies" (who ever they are?) have fully caught on to actuality of the rapid transition away from a pseudo-moral to an openly immoral geo political landscape, so it's probably not going well for them.

Oh right, there was a concern in some quarters that they were only virtue signalling to try and benefit their own sorry profiles, and actually doing fukkk all, and achieving fukkk all.

Merka hinted at stopping diesel exports but big oil no likey because most  of the refinaries are set up run high output and  don't have the storage and want to sell as much product as possible at top dollar.
Which suits everyone as tax receipts increase too.

The hurricane season is forcast to be one of the worst and the some  refinaries have to shutdown, a lot of domestic heating is with fuel oil, that's the prob  in winter with high demand on derv.
I suspect the price at pump won't push lower.
The crisis is maybe not having enough to sell at top $

Meanwhile,... Of course, Russia and Iran are allies.

Russia bomb UK prime ministers house, spreading bizarre rumours that are willfully spread by Russian shills in UK via social media, and
strange things are happening around UK air
bases, and USA withdraws bombers targeted at Iran from one
of the air bases... Did putin instruct Trump?

On 14 Oct 2026, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko addressed Ukraine’s parliament (after being summoned) on winter energy preparations amid Russian strikes. He asked: “Where is the air defence for the capital? Where is

the protection for Ukrenergo facilities? Where are the billions allocated for this?

I myself would say the Clock is ticking for Mr Zelensko. Trump aint sending Nowt , Meanwhile Burnham  is pledging more of your Money ..

The statement by Vitali has been verified   ...
By:
GLASGOWCALLING
When: 16 Oct 26 12:13
The cost of running an air defense system is staggering, broadly divided into two major components: ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) and the highly variable combat replenishment (ammunition) costs. Because these systems operate on a "ready-to-fire" basis, even a peaceful year incurs millions in base costs, while a single night of intense combat can cost over $1 billion.

  Staggering is correct.

£25 Billion?

Yeah, UK had to fight fascism all alone for 3 years back in WW2.

100's of thousands, maybe millions of lives would have been saved if other countries had given us more support in our fight for freedom over tyranny during those 3 years.

It's a natural response from the UK given what happened to us.

Ukraine had a score of 30 points on the corrution index when zelesky got elected, and he's managed to move it up to 36 (104th)  so far, but it's still a  country with endemic corruption.
It must be hard trying to attack existing corruption when you're being invaded.

Have a watch of his opening speech he gave to his parliament when he first got elected, He told them they should all resign and get out of UKraine, he got elected on an anti corruption ticket and was coming after them.

Interestingly, accordian hands guy has moved his country down from 76 to 64 points (29th) on the corruption index since he's been at the top.

UK is 20th at 70
Denmark is the least corrupt country with 89 points
