The cost of handing out a hijab is very small compared to accommodation, food, medical care, legal aid, education for children etc.
It is very unlikely a female or a child fleeing the tyranny of Emmanuel Macron will ever be deported from UK. Bigger costs for taxpayers to worry about than the cost of a head covering. |

everywhere it has to be covered up. and they all acquiesce. amazing. what joy to live such a simple life wonder how yvette cooper would react if ed told her to stick one over her boat. i suspect rather badly its mysogyny and repressive nasty and a denial of female existence she would say but that only applies to hair her. those born into the faith just have to lump it |

Pretty interesting (in a poor way) this very public demonstration of heavily organised huge police and ambo escorts for gravy boats arrivals being ferried in by rnli to Portsmouth. The burnham crowd must feel like this is a proper flex, and now confident enough to do it.
