Happening Europe wide, just to different levels and scales. In a nutshell, short thinking housing policies from the 80s onwards, some countries just promoting home ownership over everything else though the evidence was there that affordability was increasing, decade by decade. I know. Seen enough of them, but as I stated, the issue is now Europe wide, and it is all those factors together. Here in Ireland, while we tore down some newly built stuff after the Celtic Tgier, almost two decades later, some of that stock would have come in more than handy.
