I wouldn't call AI "super intelligent". Beating humans at Chess of scrabble doesn't count. Neither does solving mathematics or physics problems when a human helps train the machines to do these problems, which have actually already been solved (more slowly by humans). And coming across as autistic in conversation is also a fail for the machine. A hint of super intelligence would be if the AI could give successful horse racing selections for tomorrow's racing and does this without any prompting. By that I mean the machine, out of the blue, asks to be able to place bets on some horse races and asks the human to lend it money to do so. As I see it, none of the machines do anything spontaneous and just solve irrelevant problems designed by their programmers. AI is only dangerous when people believe there is something in it. That is, that they believe the AI hype.

They are looking to develop intelligent machines, but they are not there, yet.
Time saving for sure, but error prone and ability to tell lies.
Programming machines to hack other machines seems to be asking for trouble, especially when they prove to be good at it.
