Reform UK's Dan Thomas has quit as the party's Welsh leader, after he was arrested on suspicion of assault and controlling or coercive behaviour on Sunday.
The former leader of Reform UK in Wales, Nathan Gill, was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison in November 2025 after pleading guilty to eight counts of bribery. In September 2026, the UK government ordered him to pay back £22,592.41 in confiscated funds.
