Mr Lee, 49, placed the bets online and in betting shops, and stood to win approximately £15,000.
His wife Laura Lee, 38, placed 8 successful bets totalling £535 and would have profited by around £5,000.
Today the couple pleaded guilty to cheating at gambling and will be sentenced in October.
Anthony Lee, who was the Director of Campaigning pleaded guilty to two offences of cheating, contrary to section 42(1)(a) and section 42(1)(b) of the Gambling Act 2005.
Laura Lee (formerly Saunders), who was Head of International for the Conservative Party and the candidate for Bristol North-West at the 2024 Election, pleaded guilty to one offence of cheating, contrary to section 42(1)(a) of the Gambling Act 2005

Obv it's only in context of his overall bets, he could be punting every time he hears a rumour, adventually gets one right, easy to make it look dodgy but we don't have all the info. Is it a BBC story,the far hard left, aka traitors and quizlings, like the scum on ere. |
